Aguero banned for three games (updated)

Yep the young drama queen
You used to put every bit of your life on here in the £50 thread on a daily basis and you're a grown up - at least I had the excuse of barely being 17 when I decided to let you all know about my former relationships. Another sad fact is that in the five years since I made those posts, I've managed to move on from that particular episode quicker than most of you have.

You also claimed responsibility for getting a number of good posters banned yesterday but the post was swiftly deleted, so enough with accusing others of being drama queens and giving themselves an inflated sense of self-importance and have browse through your posting history.

Careful. People on here do not like people being sensible and knowledgeable.
People are just blowing off a bit of steam. It's a blow and the circumstances are a bit suspect. That's what tends to happen when you have an emotional attachment to a club and you think there's an injustice. I'm not talking about the ban, he deserves that, but the circus that has followed.
People much prefer those being sensible and knowledgable than the self righteous ones that jump on to tell us all how we should be feeling..

No point trying to be smart, if you miss the fundamental. It was not an appeal. It was a hearing. There's nothing to be lost by putting forward your own case. How do you know what the defence/mitigation was? You have no idea.

As for whether he should have "done it", I am not sure whether you behave that rationally when your hit from behind by 90kg with arms and heads going in at head height. Aguero knew he was going to get hit. Perhaps next time he wont go in for those challenges at all.

Ironic considering you're picking hairs regarding semantics. I don't know or care whether it was an appeal or hearing, that doesn't change anything. Multiple outlets picked up that our defence was based on the referee seeing the incident which we all could see seemed to be the case.

I saw the incident and my gut reaction was that he was guilty. That does seem to be the general consensus. Kun made a minor mistake and that's really it. We'll cope and we still will field the better 11.

well that was a waste of 500 pages or whatever it was.

still feels strange because the club don't normally bother challenging these decisions.
Even Kompany's one against the rags in the cup that January when he won the ball, they just accepted it and carried on.
Perhaps it's a new, stronger approach, letting them know we won't accept absolutely everything they throw at us.

Still think it's a piss-take that he's changed his mind afterwards - leaves his reasoning completely up to speculation.
Also, we're 3 games in and already the charade of punishments, penalties etc. has begun. Costa a yellow for studs up just below the knee and no 2nd yellow for blatant dive just creates ridiculous never ending conversations. Aguero gets his just deserves so the debate ends and he carries on in 3 weeks. Costa will be reliving those 2 incidents every week because he was never suitably punished.
I'm expecting Wenger to call Mourinho a liar next week and then one of them make a comment about talking about other teams' players etc.
I'd just like one season to be different, where everyone enjoys the spectacle on the pitch and not the drama surrounding it.

Oh do fuck off.

Look at the newspapers from May 1. Felliani was widely condemned (as was Huth) in the papers and on Sky and he got a retrospective 3 match ban.
Others to get the same include: Delli Alli, Mousa Dembele, Connor Wickham, Diego Costa (twice), Luis Suarez, Martin Skertel, Greg Halford, Bastien Schweinsteiger, Andy Wilkinson (elbowing Balotelli), Charlie Adam. And Rooney got banned for swearing down the camera and missed the semi final against us in 2011. Seems it's not just about City.
Shhhhhh. Don't spoil it.

Good post, my friend.

It is possible to unfollow me on here isn't it? Why don't you do that?

Because I prefer reading your turgid keyboard bilge and pointing it out.

Seriously though, why are you even back on here?

Ps as a point of note, swanning back in here and having a go at Karen is going to make you as welcome as a dose in Malia.
