Over the moon! And out of finger nails. Loved the first half. Shaky a little in the 2nd but shows we can play scrappy and still win..cannot stand united player especially Rooney and fellaini how he stays on I will never know just a dirty player.
 
Football is as much about defending as attacking. Great demonstration of both today apart from one piece of misunderstanding. A great deal to be happy about.
 
Terrible match to watch till the end, too many mistakes but we won it by deserving too. Bravo has been shite, but he can only improve in the next weeks (it was only his 1st match and in a derby also!), altrough he made at least two saves in the last minutes to keep the lead. My MotM, De Bruyne for sure.
 
De bruyne was the man today. Deserved a second. Bravo looked so comfortable and composed in the first 40 minutes then seemed to fall to pieces mentally after the first error. Glad we got the job done in the first 40 minutes, because during that period we were perfect. Great to see us dig in and show resilience at the end to hold on as well.

I'm concerned that we've gone to 2-0 leads in every game so far in PL and then conceded a goal. We need to tidy that up.

I think I have to vote Otto for motm as if he'd cracked we would have lost. Immense from him. The performance I have waited to see

Pity Bravo cracked up but he'll be ok.

Had Aguero played we would have scored 8 2nd half.
 
As has been the case this season with all our games we were a Pep team first half and then come around the 60th minute mark the curse of the corpse had it's affect. We'll exorcise the demon before long. Nolito, Silva, Stones and Otto were all excellent. You can see it's coming together blues. Some real pastings are going to be given out this season.

That was extremely nerve racking. The old saying ''goals change games'' have never rung so true. If we did not give away that goal at the end of the first half, this could have been truly remarkable in terms of the scoreline at the end... but a win is a win. A masterclass, a clinic, an complete display of Peps football, beautiful football in the first half and a show of clutch and grit in the second half to see it through. Job well done.
 
Gettt innnn city fantastic performance,although jittery near the end but top defending,although bar the mistake for their goal they wouldn't have been in it at all,glad to see that smug grin wiped off eye gougers face...
