Derby post match thread 10/09/2016

Moureen chatting shite yet again. Just admit you were once again outwitted by a far superior manager.

This from Phil McNulty, BBC Sport chief football writer:
"Manchester United's fans have been left stunned by that goal from Kevin de Bruyne after they had made such a bright start."

A few shots from long distance on the occasional break, whilst we absolutely pummelled them. I don't think anyone else would have been 'stunned' that we scored.

Some of the TV post-match analysis has been funny, too - full of praise for Utd's 'effort and heart' in trying to get back into the game. Isn't that a standard requirement from a team losing 2-1 at home?!

I'm loving this. I think this might be the most satisfying derby win I've seen, given the media hype and Mourinho arse-kissing we've endured all week.

Mourinho feeling the pressure already lol.....Take the 7 foot hippy out that team and they got nothing. We can only get better and Kun still to come back.
Well done City, top dogs once again.......get used to it Rags. Time for another beer.

Fantastic result. One of the best games I have seen Kev play. Not far behind Dinho, who was everywhere, Silva was great, and every defender was superb.

Great result and I am so happy for Pep.

De Bruyne, Otamendi, and Fernandinho outstanding. The rest were all very good, apart from the keeper and Nacho, who were both poor. Excellent performance overall and we have Kompany, Gundogan and Aguero to come into this team. Great result and plenty more to look forward to. Someone's going to get a hammering.

Deep meaningful joy
Best day ever ..
Peg is such a **** .
Thing is they are at their level we still got 3 4 gears to go up

Maureen blaming the ref and wanting 2 pens
I called this on Monday or Tuesday. If we won he'd pick out a couple of glances of an elbow (Ota) or tough but fair tackles in the box (Bravo) and claim they should have had penalties. Never mind Bog-brush sexually assaulting Nolito. Leave him to it, while they're making excuses they're not raising the bar and improving. Bar a rake of injuries we're going to fucking hockey them in Eastlands.

Just great to see intense pressing from us all the way into Fergie Time.

Seemed like every time they lumped it deep there was Otamendi sizing things up and preparing to win a header against Felony.

Sane for me looked a lot better than it seems many have thought.

Carlton's hair and eyebrows looked good.

It's always like this, always like they didn't perform and would of won otherwise. Still awaiting the analysis of us tearing them a new one in the first half.
It's like a funeral in there; turned it off couldn't stand the wankers.

First 40 minutes was the best I have seen us play for a long time. Absolute and total dominance. The rest of the game was not as good due to gifting them a goal. Kelechi very poor in not finding de bruyne and the keeper, well fuck me he can't play any worse than he did today. It's ok being good with your feet but you have to give the players in front of you confidence which lets face it he didn't. It's got to be onwards and upwards from him surely.

Silva was majestic for me and De Bruyne. I also thought Otta, Fernandino and once again Kolorov being good. I wasn't overly impressed with the efforts of Sane when he came on. Gave up possession too easily when we needed to hold on to the ball.

Great tactical display by Guardiola. Reacted well to their early second half threat, made good subs and evened the game up again. Contract that with The lethargy and predictability of last seasons subs.

The team spirit is excellent this season. Good to see it back and been a missing ingredient for too long.

I think the most impressive thing this City team has showed in this four early games is the character the team has. In all the games the team has gotten pegged back from a 2-0 start to 2-1. Normally after that you would expect all momentum to be for the other team and in all the games there's been a period of 15-20 minutes where the team has been under pressure but they've managed to hold on and deal with the pressure in all four games where the score has been 2-1 and then gone on to control the game and win. That's the kind of character that champions are made of and I suspect once everyone if fully fit and the team has gotten fully comfortable with the managers tactics, those situations will be few and far between.

As for the game, De bruyne gave a world class performance today, silva was absolutely class and fernandinho was playing like 2 men in one but otamendi for me was the MOTM. For the team with the height that United has, he was throwing his body and getting unto everything in that second half when United reverted to playing long-ball and was immense in that second half.

Do you miss kev maureen???? haha
Haha didn't even register that. All the shite about ibrahimovic getting revenge over pep whilst it was Kev who was silently planning to shove mourinhos rejection down his throat. Oh and shoved it right down his throat and out his arse.
