Thank fuck I read your post, I was actually beginning to think I'd dreamt this and it didn't actually happen, I wonder if Clattenberg would have carded (was it Rashford who immediately closed him down) for unsporting/ungentlemanly conduct, for me, it summed up everything about that club, the manager and the players.
It was Rooney, mate.

Genuine question- did the rags pay a gazillion pounds to play Pogba in central midfield/ deep lying playmaker role? If yes, has he played in that role for Juve? I know last season he played in the number 10 role so what is the rationale for paying that much money for someone who may not immediately slot in to the managers desired position/ role

Because shrek plays just behind Mememememe and Carlton would only get in his way.

Gray, Wilkins, McCoist? Lol. He overplayed the ball and his studs were showing, nailed on foul anywhere else on the pitch. His reaction afterwards checking to see if Rooney was hurt was very telling too. I don't particularly care about it you deserved the win. Also I seem to remember De Bruyne disappearing in this corresponding fixture last season, being marked out of the game by Rojo of all people. It can happen to any player.

Bailly on Otamendi?

Bogbrush elbows?

Stop fucking crying and concentrate your thoughts on the fact you have a one dimensional manager whose only tactic is spoil the game and play hoofball.

"....Cause weve got....Guardiola, weve got, Guardiola, weve got...."

That one comment says absolutely everything about their fucking fans. Clueless cunts who eat up every piece of bullshit published by/about their club.
i had a bit of a browse on rag cafe before i went to bed and to be fair to the cunts , most of the held their hands up and said city were the better team and we deserved to win, but there was a few comments that made me laugh but over all. they took it well... unlike peg

Their not letting go of the bravo penalty shout. Our penalty appeals where more credible than theirs, the media don't show ours though, do they?
Mentioned on the radio this morning that if there were video replays it would have been a red card and a penalty.............here we go!

What does peg stand for? :-)

Keep up, jrb.

Regarding their fans.

The penny still hasn't dropped with a large percentage of their fan base. Denial?

Not only have we caught them up on and off the pitch, which we did years ago, we've now over taken them on the pitch. (again)

Portuguese Eye Gouger.

Looks like our hierarchy were right about Pogba..he's never worth the type of money they paid for him..I genuinely thought we had made a mistake not signing him

I'm not saying he's shite..but makes my eyes water thinking how much money he cost..in today's market he's a 50mil player at best

Another spending spree I think.

Let them spend as much as they want, they are light years behind us, the Chavs and the Dippers, and maybe Spurs as well. Let Peg waste another shedload of money on midfield players when all he's going to do is tell DeGea and the defenders to hoof it up to A&E ignoring the fucking players he'll have spent billions on.

I like what he's doing with the filthy vermin.

The slow creeping realisation that they really aren't that good is delicious. They all bought into the narrative of turning another corner, mega money signings and shirt sales, the special one, back in business and once again (After the Hull game) about to conquer the footballing landscape. Those first 40 minutes yesterday was a cold backhanded slap into wakey-wakey land.

It won't be long before the Norwich scarf wearing softarses are out in force again and we'll once again see the cracks in Moureen's Psyche emerge, especially if they suffer a couple of crap results in the upcoming games. We'll see more players being thrown under the bus, backroom issues will be a plenty, more referees will be publicly blamed and critisised. It'll be just like his last season at Chelsea all over again. Despite the media circle jerk telling us how great the scum and Maureen are I've seen very little to suggest anything of radical or successful change with regards to how they set up and play. Long ball, long ball, hit a cross in, long ball, get Young on for a penalty etc. As already mentioned, Spurs, Dippers, Arse all look better.

The pressure is on him big time to succeed this season from those upstairs, the sponsers, their mutant fans and if he doesn't, well, that baby is going to blow. I really can't see the big nosed ego or the £100 Million vanishing French man saving him.

The figurehead of there team is 34 and has a season in him at best. They are poor in defence - have one overpriced midfielder, two potentially decent prospects up front and a world class goaly who wants to be in Madrid. Feel better after yesterday.

You need to open your eyes then, it's Tony Marshall and Fatty Shaw they have diving for penalties now, although neither could get into the box yesterday, so they spent all match whining about imaginary handballs instead, the fucking clowns.

As we all know we were in for this guy last year but we refused to pay the extortionate asking price. Now our quiet neighbours have paid an eye watering amount for his services, I thought a separate thread was required to monitor his progress to see whether we dodged a bullet or whether we missed out on one of the best players in the world, if the hype and bullshit surrounding him for the last few years is any measure of his true worth.
Personally I think we dodged a bullet, if yesterday's performance was anything to go by.
