Some tool just phoned GMR to say the atmosphere want good. Have to say down in 111 it was awesome.

Older fans are blinded by Maine Road. However, not everyone at Maine Road sang, it was predominantly the Kippax, and even then the fans weren't split by the away fans. In the Etihad we've got two great sections of singing fans, but they're separated by the away fans. Also, the ground is bigger than Maine Road, and not as enclosed, so the fans who were singing their heads of down in Level 1 won't always be heard by those in Level 3.

Oh, and where was the drum......I didn't hear it today.

...and while I'm at it, what was it with those fucking searches going in?

Oh, motm was Fernandinho for me.

Oh, and it was a shame that shot by Sterling hit the post.
I read that as GMP first time round.

Don't think we should get excited yet blues, we've only beaten cannon fodder! ;0) x

I rarely post here but honestly we should all be standing behind Nolito. Never a Red Card. Both players' heads were in contact and Nolito just tried to push him away hard with his head. I have seen this many time in the premier league and have never seen anyone get a Red for that. It was never a headbutt.

Nolito does not deserve Red and if anything we should be backing him up not blaming him!!!!! Really sad when I read all those comments against him. I think City will appeal the Red

Well done to the whole team on a fantastic effort and result.
Interesting that you capitalise 'r' all the way through your post...

unfortunate Nolito lost his focus....
We're going to see a lot of that sort of play this year
Just have to take it and pour on the goals

Brilliant until the last 15 when it got a bit sloppy due to the subs and us being 4-0 up
That and the disrupted schedule midweek with the CL. Very happy with that today, Garcia didn't look out of place when he came on and we were brutally dominant until the match was won.

Stupid red from Nolito it was very obvious in front of the 4th official even. Inexcusable yes but to his defence, smith had been all over him in the 2nd half. Heated exchanges off the ball. At least he'll learn from it better to get it out of the system now than when games come thick and fast.

A very entertaining game, sterling's best today and gundogan was very influential. Sané still needs to gel with the team at the moment he's playing an isolated game.

credit to Bournemouth they did'nt resort to a long ball game , they tried to play football , 8 games , 8 wins , 25 goals scored , with Kompany , Gundongan and Sane also back to fitness , we might be on to something here :)

Just got in, fucking brilliant! Controlled the game whilst playing in 1st gear. De Bruyne and Sterling were class. Nolito was daft, knew he was going for throwing his head in...even if he didn't connect.

Top of the league!

Don't know if you who were there or watching a TV feed in the UK saw it, but after DeBruyne's free kick, Pep turned around and pointed directly at someone on the coaching staff -- obviously we'd scouted Bournemouth and knew their wall would leap. Indeed, NBC in the States showed a clip of them doing exactly that on a free kick from a similar area in an earlier match. Brilliant call and brilliant execution by DeBruyne.

disagree about the kippax at Maine road mate. The north stand was well better :)

The performance was excellent, how anyone can moan is beyond me. The red was irrelevant as it saves Pep a headache when Silva's fit next game. So much choice in talent. Super

Serenity: it's such a novel feeling when I'm watching City. Well done, blues.
