1 month into 3 years of this! Yes, there will be downs but we are going to absolutely smash some teams.

Determined to never take watching this for granted. It's like being a little boy and falling in love with the club all over again.

Wilshere finds out where Pogba is hiding.....

Lol, forgot Wilshere was playing til he went off.

Just have to say from watching us so far this season under pep, it is alright saying that a player has played brilliantly, but I am actually struggling to name a player who hasn't played well

Pep is a fucking genius

Fucking gutted. Me and my pal put a fiver on 4-0 Kev first scorer 55-1 on his bet Fred account on his phone. The dirty red **** is saying the bet timed out before it was made the robbing ****, fucking fuming, even stayed right til the end for a change!
Haha. I had a fiver on 4-0 with sterling first gs.

Nice one Kev...

This! We have played some great football at times since the takeover and we have had some some great results.....but....it has all been a bit stop start. The last few weeks I have stood opened mouthed at times watching us play and thought, ''This is it...this is what we have waited for....this is the real deal!!''

I feel like this too. It's early days but the signs are that we are going to witness some special football in the next few years. All of our goals were brilliant today. I think the lift in atmosphere was a sign that we are not alone in this way of thinking.

It makes the dross we had to put up with last season worthwhile.

We're a million miles better in everything under Pep but especially the work rate, energy and pressing shown each and every game. Most of all though I think we're showing consistency at an early stage which is good. I'm finding it hard to see a fault in our lot at present.

It went a little flat in parts [ The atmosphere ] but that was in part the heat and because the game was won fairly early, it was still ok though. People harp on about it too much though it isn't a singing competition and since the all seater stadiums most grounds are hit and miss on atmosphere.
I think it was the best atmosphere outside a "big game" for as long as i can remember.

It is the first time we have arguably got the world class coach to match the squad and set up. Hughes wasn't it, Mancini was it in parts and Pellegrini definitely wasn't. It has been a long time coming now lets hope we kick right on after two mediocre years.

Just simply a lovely day! Spent quality time with my dad (20 quid on de bruyne for him first goal) at the match in a great stadium, watching football as good as that.

I love you city. That's all!!

Happy.

There is a palpable sense of joy in our play which was very evident today. Great performance and great atmosphere.

Outstanding, getting harder and harder to pick a man of the match, what a team pep is creating, I for one want to personally apologise to kolarov for my ignorance, in my assessment of your ability, way wrong.
