Celtic v City post match

I thought we played pretty good. It was always going to be a tough game. Glad barca beat monchengladbach, didn't want monchengladbach breathing down our necks with us playing barca twice in a row.

That's garbage reasoning. As has been pointed out by several others.

Got give celtic credit they put pressure on us early on but take a point as we wernt at our best thought sterling was our best player by far tonight

Great game for the neutral but for us City fans an eye opener. We're pretty shit defensively and won't win anything this season until it's sorted out.
Top sides don't concede 3 against Burnley, I mean Celtic. Not one goal they scored came from good play, just defensive howlers.

Good to see the smacked arses are on already!

Celtic were fantastic tonight and we did well to come away with a point.

Enjoyable watch. Think it was one of them nights where everything that could've gone right for Celtic did though, offside goal, deflected own goal & mistake from Kolarov gifted them their 3 goals - don't remember Bravo making more than 1 save. On another day we could've had 5 or 6, just didn't quite go in.

Fair play to them, they worked silly hard for that, shame Barca snuck the win, will be incredibly tough to top the group now.

Well we were up against it to try and get top spot but no chance now imo. We were set up all wrong tonight and it's the first game under Pep where I've been worried about what the gameplan was (or lack of). He will have learnt a lot though, especially how fragile we are when teams press so hopefully finds a way to combat how Spurs will play against us!
Spurs rested players last night. I think we did too: Stones and Sagna will come back in.

Well done Celtic. Pep and the players seemed to take them for granted and they filled their boots.

Did well to come back three times but it's a poor result and too many players were not at the races.

Pep should have picked Stones. Three players over 30 who are slow in the back 4 is risky. Zab is clearly past his best and Kolorov had a mare at CB tonight.

Fernandinho spent too much time on his arse and Gundogan didn't do enough.

Sterling magnificent.

We will have to play so much better than that Sunday and against Barca.

The winning run had to come to an end sometime and been showing sloppy signs in last couple of games leading up to this.

KDB is and will be a big miss while out.

I never accepted the consensus that we would stroll into a loud Celtic park and hammer them. Very unlikely we will top this group now, should still qualify for the knock out phase. It is so good to watch and support city at the moment, the best I can remember in 36 years of support.

Worse performance from us under Pep. Need something from Barca at home now. Could have and should have won that. Have to be better v spuds.

Full credit to rogers and celtic, i think rodgers showed why he is one of the best english managers, great entertainment, fair result.

The three goals we conceded were bloody awful. One goal conceded like that in a game and you count yourself unlucky but fkin three !!!

Sterling best on ground.
Nolito battled hard.
Gundogan was invisible.

Don't really trust Silva as one of the central midfielders in a pep style 4-1-4-1, doesn't do enough going the other way. Thought we looked much more solid when he was moved out wide, though by that stage Celtic were also very tired.

Kolarov also put in a performance from one of his dark old days. Fernandinho needed to stay on his feet but he was better in the 2nd half.
