Celtic v City post match

Some very poor performances tonight esp fern, ota and kolarov. Kun was strangely quiet and too many others off their game. Good resilience to come back and Sterling was outstanding I thought. First poor performance this season and we didn't lose, hopefully a good lesson.

A point at a tough away ground isn't that bad really. We were never gonna beat Barca to first place in the group anyway.

Thought silva had a noticeably bad game, also think we saw the downside of the Kolarov CB masterstroke, IE he's still not really that great at defending tho.
Silva was shite.

Oh well fair play to Celtic, but really it will feel like a win for them as they only have 6 games this season, but overall we were good in patches and poor overall defensively, their goals all from fuck ups at the back but there you go we move on,on to Spurs Sunday..

At the end of the day we were never gonna catch Barca on goal difference if we matched them for points. Nothing's changed we need to beat them

I never accepted the consensus that we would stroll into a loud Celtic park and hammer them. Very unlikely we will top this group now, should still qualify for the knock out phase. It is so good to watch and support city at the moment, the best I can remember in 36 years of support.

i haven't seen many people say that. but then again there goals came from our mistakes

Stones is fundamental to everything we do.

KDB must be wishing he was out there tonight.

Gundogan couldn't finish his dinner and Zabba was just horrible in possession,

Kolarov back to norm and was Aguero playing?

Thank feck for Raheem.
Ha, at least I feel you watched same game as me, lol.

Absolute train wreck of a defensive performance, all 4 defenders and Fernandinho had an absolute mare. Kolarov in particular put in a nice reminder for those who thought he'd suddenly turned into Bobby Moore just because he'd managed to play a couple of games withut anyone running at him, by defending like old Kolarov and just randomly hoofing it whenever he got the ball.He must have set some kind of record for giving the ball away as it was all he did all night.

Sterling was absolutely outstanding, the other attacking players were hit and miss, but the defending was just awful. First half Fernandinho looked drunk, constantly lunging in and missing things and exposing the shit show that is Otamendi and Kolarov, who proceeded to take it in turns to charge out and commit themselves like 5 year olds. Even despite all that all 3 of their goals were incredibly fortunate, but the defence was all over the place and made it far too easy for them to get in dangerous positions.

Travelling away on business so couldn't watch the match. I had a feeling tonight wouldn't go our way after our sometimes disjointed display on Saturday. I noticed against Swansea that we just didn't seem to have the same vigour that we showed previously, but a point away in the CL is always a decent result.

Great game, was always going to be difficult at Celtic which is why it was a tough group for us specifically. Fair result, one or two of our players were excellent and one or two poor, it's the way it goes.

Offside goal and an OG gets them a point. Sterling easily our best player. Shame his efforts didn't get us the win. Id have left Nolito on and taken Silva off given that Nolito can't play on Saturday and Silva looked gassed. Good spirit to come back 3 times.

Most disappointed with Gundogan today. Even factoring in his recent injury, I was expecting more control from him.

Sterling top class again. Everyone else - meh
