This is genuinely hilarious

Just a summary

4) Jose Mourinho
8) Ed Woodward
11) Gary Neville
12) Wayne Rooney
15) Mino Raiola
16) David Beckham
20) The Glazers
22) Zlatan Ibrahimovic
23) Sir Alex Ferguson
27) Paul Pogba
32) David Gill
36) Rio Ferdinand
38) Marcus Rashford

Seriously. Marcus Rashford is the 38th most powerful person in English football apparently. Despite 4 rag players, there are actually only 2 other players on the entire list, Harry Kane at 31st and Mesut Ozil at 48th.

David Gill being less powerful than Harry Kane will certainly come as a shock to him

42. Marina Granovskaia. The most powerful woman in football? Has been an advisor, confidante and enforcer for Roman Abramovich for almost two decades.

Then answer their own question with:

41. Karen Brady.

Utter bollocks and something 10 years olds can do on the playground. For a "writer" to write and publish that is pathetic

I was briefly confused by the first paragraph - something about writers and cogitating - when they meant was;
"Some of our pissed-up hacks went down the pub on a very quiet sports news day during an international break, got even more pissed and put together a list of names of people who may have something or other to do with football, patted themselves on their collective backs, followed by trebles all round, and spent the rest of the evening making up their expenses"

Yet our CEO is only No 50

The vermin are rapidly fading into an irrelevance and the media have to bend over backwards to pretend otherwise. The rags ceased to become a footballing commodity years ago, they are now a product, so of course they have a shelf-life like all consumer items. Stock, Aitken and Waterman were a presence in the 80's, but mean sweet fuck all today. You now and again get a compilation album of Dead or Alive, Jason and Kylie, Rick Astley etc, but by and large they're forgotten about. The same as the scummy vermin: pretty much every day the tabloids carry non-stories about Bryan Riggs, Beckscum, Cuntona and others just to ensure that the club are still relevant. But you can't fool all of the people all of the time, messrs Holt and the Cultish brothers, and others from the tabloid press.
