There is a case going down in the courts to do with "fully loaded" Kodi boxes where a man is likely to be prosecuted for selling them. If he (probably will) loses the case the floodgates will probably open on the third party world of Kodi; builds will also likely be targeted and the bluemoon build is getting fairly popular so I would be at risk if I left the build up; I will continue to support the build until he loses in court mate.

Yeah, I saw that mate. Didn't realise creating builds was illegal? Selling different story, let's see how it plays out.

This is the thing, it's not strictly illegal as I'm not actually hosting any copyright infringing content, however this case might give the green light to start killing the third party world of Kodi. As you say we will see, he may win but i doubt it :)

Yeah, there's a whole internet out there to use etc.

To some extent we've all set up and become lazy fuckers by bumming off you rather than delving ourselves.

However it pans out the last thing you need is stress and pressure from a footie forum.

I will still stay around and help out on bluemoon regardless of how the case goes mate, I'll help out on the xbmc/Kodi thread if the build dies off :)
 
I have a relative who has happily been using Kodi on his Fire TV box until Virgin emailed him to say they had blocked it. I know people on this thread are recommending Nordvpn but can you point me to a decent walk through / video showing how to install it. I have seen that you have to install Openvpn first and I'm a little confused.

Thanks again to Agueroooo for his great work. If you do stop the builds I am still grateful for all the steers and tips as I have gone from knowing nothing about Kodi to having a play around doing my own build.

That sounds a bit weird, did they specifically mention a URL they were blocking?
Sadly the fire TV doesn't allow the use of vpn's mate; how tech savvy is you and your friend bud? :)

They cant block kodi!

They block individual plugins but there is that many out there there is always an option, also certain plugins that are blocked there are away around them.

Virgin. I'll dig a bit further on this as he is very upset at the moment as he has just lost his wife after 55 years of marriage. He definitely said he had been blocked but I'll put the Bluemoon build on his box (even though he is a Red) on SPMC to see what's what.

My ISP is virgin mate and I have no problems with the addons, it is probably the addons he is using that are being blocked, also really sorry to hear about his wife mate :(
