Thought that was funny west brom fans started singing "we've got the ball" when they eventually got the ball :-)
Back with a bang, excellent first half then seemed to drop off second half giving West Brom a few chances, but then picked them off with gundogan's two goals, hopefully this win gets the confidence flowing again, looking forward to the two home games coming up now Barca and boro..
No. because the PL is the top priority and will be until such time as we are winning it every year. Ffs.Well in that case, should we not have 'rested' players today in preparation for Barca on Tuesday? To some the champs league isn't important, to others it's the be all and end all. I had a cracking day out last year at Wembley beating the scousers on pens so it's all about opinions really but thanks for your help pointing things out for me anyway.
Seems everybody waiting for ahahahahahaha![]()
So many are stuck in 1999 mode when the thought of a derby win even felt like an impossible dream.Sadly some can't see beyond beating Trafford . It's a much bigger picture for our owners and Guardiola .
Agreed, plus players still adjusting to peps football ...We did drop off, as you say, but at least we didn't go on holiday. It was a satisfying day all round, IMO.
Because I said today's result(s) justified Wednesday. Why the fcuk are people arguing?
He never says that against his beloved rags does he, the club shop wankerHa ha well done Pulis........never disappoints on mentioning the MONEY!!
West Brom manager Tony Pulis: "In the first half we sat back waiting for it to happen. In the second half we gave it a go but needed to score. As the game opens up they have real quality on the break.
"I'm disappointed with all the goals. We should do better. You look at the money they have spent and their quality and depth is absolutely frightening."
Yeah but come Tuesday how do they do with a third game in six days?I don't think that was the case with the rags today. They didn't look tired just burnleys goalkeeper kept them in it. Even if we played a team like the rags did on Wednesday we would of won today, if we scored first.
That's what was important today - scoring first.
Stop yer fucking whinging. Its all done and dusted now ... apart from mard arses like yourself.I think we'd have managed a good result today with wednesdays line up and i think we'd have also beaten Utd on Weds with today's lineup. 8000 City fans shouldn't have to pay to watch 2nd string imo and it's always nice to get one over on them ****s after all the defeats i've witnessed over the years.
we did put them away pal.4 0 is putting them awayWe were lucky not to concede, and we all know what it's like when that happens. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure we'd have still scored again but I'd just like to see us be more clinical in putting sides away when we are so dominant.
Loved the game mate, so I'm not being negative, just unnecessarily nervy for that part of the game.
