Average today. We should be starting 2 up front against dross like these. Clichy was a complete waste of a starting spot today.

Poor finishing especially at the end and another stupid needless booking.

IMO, worst our player tonight. Besides horrible finishing, almost useless in the build-up, embarrassingly slow with his passing decisions. Seems like we won't solve the finishing problem till next summer. GJesus is the only hope, unfortunately.

What a shit post. He was very good today apart from that miss in the end.

Take a break from the thread ffs.

This isnt an opinion, its pure fucking trolling/wummery.

Played well today scored a goal should of had at least 2. He still needs to run the channels more have bit more movement and KNOW when to pass the ball and not do a messi.

Should be 151 one.

Wasteful at the end along with Kev and it ended up costing us.

If he'd converted all the penalties he's missed, it would be close to 160!

150 goals in 223 appearances is a phenomenal return; that's over two every three.

I feel so privileged to be able to watch Kun at Etihad every game.

Nurse!!

Should have scored that one he missed but it must be so hard playing against two buses like that. He has no room to run in to.

Calling him.the worst of our players might be over the top, but every other point he made kinda rings true. Kun's finishing was poor today. I think everyone agrees on that. His decision making in the build up was also poor. There were times outside the box I was hoping the ball didn't go to him into we were nearer their box. The counter run wherer he should have laid off to DeBryune earlier. a few passes just behind the player that killed possible counters. And a few head down Solo dribbling runs that ended in culdesacs.
H

For a good portion there, I was just hoping the ball didn't go to him when we weren't near their 18, as I didn't like his decisions on prior plays outside the box..

I thought so to. Wonderful player, but yesterday just wasn't a good day for him. I'd have replaced him at 70m with Nacho, plus added Lito and Sane because we clearly needed freshening-up and a bit more energy.

Andrew__K isn't a troll/wum. He's made several astute observations about Pep, our players, and our system in the past. I value his contributions to this forum.

If you disagree with Andrew, just say so. No need to conclude that he's a wum/troll.

great goal yesterday...very few strikes int he world would have found that space he did for the goal....of course it was a fantastic cross by kdb as well but Kun managed to find a yard of space where there looked like there was none. Ran his arse off again yesterday as well.....could ask nothing more...strikers occasionally miss chances..he snatched at the chance most people ware winging about..it happens get over it....

Simple fact is that if we defend better we don't lose. Fun did his job yesterday but a combination of poor defending and a poor choice of substitution by Pep (should have brought Kompany on) were bigger factors

This is a bit off topic, but, nevertheless is of interest to me.

What do you think of Pep? How do you rate him as a manager? Who, if anyone, is a better manager in world football at this time other than Pep?
