Pathetic today on P with the showsec clowns, asking to see cards before you were allowed to queue when I got there, they dragged 3 blokes out to look at their cards and asked if they had been drinking, took the card off one to inspect, confiscated a butty box and flask off some fella saying no food and drink allowed (Yes I know bottles are confiscated but flasks n pack lunches ffs), then told a couple with paper tickets to leave the line and fold their ticket properly before they could get near the turnstiles instead of just showing them how.

The everton and barca games ques were partly down to these wankers OTT security checks, with their stupid wands.
How was it last week at wba the security check was quick, friendly and efficient, unlike these lot.

The bastards on Tuesday would`nt let me and the lad in with sealed chips and peas that twats !!
I told them that I had witnessed in Blocks N,P,R, where they`re was multple queues letting people in the burgers and the like.
I was told that my chips and peas constituted a "FULL MEAL".I argued with this **** that my Mum sometimes only eats sandwiches so does that constitute a full meal ?

its all really strange this for me.............today...im in 318 ,go in N 1 ...I got the full search treatment, the bloke with the metal scan thing scanned me all over, said,"whats that in your coat pocket ? a mobile ? " I said yeah,it was.....but he didn't bother to check............before that ............my 9 year old who had a plastic bag with my pie ,his bottle of tango and crisps in it was waved in,in front of me without any check !!!

it was excactly the same on Tuesday night going in v barca.

Mithering fans standing in 315 again as well.

Bunch of wankers.

Did it again on our block (314) as well

vanished when "stand up" was being sung as they only got half way up. May be worth a true singing block being set up there next to away fans as the noise does carry.

Normal stewards and dibble in the segregation are fine, its the showsec that are over the top.

Dont mind being searched if everyone is going to be searched. They were using their scanner on everyone as i walked up to the turnstyle until the queues started to get bigger and one of the team leaders told them to risk access people who to scan so they stopped scanning everyone and just picked the people they wanted.

and yet in 114 they are happy for rows designed for 8 to have 16 stood in them,in the aisles etc, swigging beer and being dicks.....

Thought i had took a wrong turning and was at Ringway I was half expecting the showsec f\8ckers to ask me to remove my belt and take my shoes off and ask for my passport number just glad they didnt find my weapon of mass destruction , my *Bowyers pork pie ( *pork pies from other maufacturers also available)

At least you got your pork pie in. I was refused entry at Brum in the year of the banana because of mine. I did try to eat it but most of it got chucked.
It was around that time (year before or after) I wasn't allowed in to Shrewsbury with chips and gravy because of the tiny wooden fork. Chucked the fork and they let me in. Gravy and chips is not finger food. Especially in the age before napkins.

More recently they wouldn't let me in at the swamp with an apple. So healthy options don't work either. (Don't ask - I was on a short term health kick - it didn't last)

I think you've got to blame the people at the top, The security as really gone over the top , every City game you go now , the U18, U23, Women and 1st team it's really OTT
, Like one said to me , "you can't be to careful in this day and age" what under like the 70's & 80's with the troubles in N.Ireland (that spread to the mainland) and hooliganism at its height !

I had a camera mount robbed by someone from them at southsmpton. Told me I could collect post game. Nowhere to be seen and no one could locate it.

Club finally replied yesterday and I have to pay postage costs to have it returned.

Assholes I swear.

Bit bizarre all this no food thing. Me and my boy take asda butties and drinks in every game (family stand) with no fuss as long as no bottles have been opened there doesnt seem to be a problem.

have they even got any jurisdiction to act that way. taking food of a paying customer.

I was stopped a few weeks ago I had chippy for my family. I was told "you can't take that in there" watch this, I was stopped, after I explained that not only had I paid 12 quid for said food I have been coming here fifty fucking years and have never been stopped for any reason I will be taking my chippy in. he said "i'm just doing my job" no you're not i said and walked right past him and devoured my fish from Tony's.

They don't have the right to take it off you but they can say your not bringing it in. It's a massive joke if you ask me, it's so you buy stuff inside but they can't even get that right.

we are in south level 2. food is simply not available, there is a token gesture of a cabin but they sell out in minutes. I was in 106 yesterday and there was umpteen food outlets, the difference in the two matchday facilities is astounding.

Is it actually a club/stadium rule that you can't bring food or drink into the ground?

I'm in 107 pal don't be fooled by outlets, they are useless. If you fancy a pint and some chips at half time you have to leave on 40 mins and won't be back until 5 mins into 2nd half. Shambles

Yes mate on the banned list along with flares etc it is on them posters. I think the exception is small bottled water.

yes but they are at least there. I walked towards an outlet last week as the second half got underway. I was just close enough to see them close the shutters. amateurs.

Down our way (entrance T) they are now letting in bottled drinks as long as they are still sealed (or you claim them to be so)
