What evidence do you have for that? The anti-English sentiment bubbling in Scotland and Ireland absolutely dwarves that you've mentioned by a huge amount.
I have never noticed much despite living up here for 30 years.

Xenophobia is a fear of foreigners isn't it?There are a group of right wing city fans who jump on the celtic-rangers thing to basically be anti-Irish. And yes it is racist/xenophobic to call people fenian bastards. Didn't have any problem with any celtic fans in Glasgow but did get abuse from some middle aged City fans for not going in for the anti Irish bullshit (I'm not even Irish btw)
Not all of them to be fair.Yeah, how could anyone in Manchester possibly hate the Irish. I mean it's not like they blew up our entire city center a couple of decades ago, is it?

There goes another thread...! Stick to the OP point, save all the anti this, that and the other for the playground..
So they could dislike the Irish and love the Japanese ant not be Xenophobic? It is yes, manifested in anti-foreigner sentiment/abuse

What I'm getting at is that not everything needs a label.
It could be that 114 is split between home and away. The away end isn't as wide as it wasSeems to be selling fairly well. Only 317 and 318 in the South stand are showing as good availability, with most other areas either sold out or low. The family stand is mostly showing as 'ok' availability.
Maybe I've missed something though, tickets are available in block 114 in the South Stand, isn't this normally an away section? Are Celtic fans being moved elsewhere for this match?
Nah bollocks. I may love and adore all animals excepts cats (they are ****s), you wouldn't describe me as being animal hating, you say "the handsome bloke over there hates cats".They would still be xenophobic. Do you know anyone who hates people from Every foreign Country? People pick and choose their prejudices but being against a particular country or race is clearly xenophobic/racist. Whether you want to give it a label or not

You're watering down the term 'racist' and misusing the term 'xenophobic' (a person would that was xenophobic would hate/fear all foreigners yes).
Some people hate the French, some hate the Irish. Not me, but some, that's all there is to it.
Watering the term down to a ridiculous degree.Fenian = demeaning
Fenian bastard = racist
There's no need for this shit in football or elsewhere.
Btw Celtic fans were great in Glasgow as many have said
And it's the green half that supports the IRA scum who set several bombs off in ManchesterConsidering Manchester was a hub for Irish immigrants many moons ago and the hospitable feeling towards City fans in Glasgow, I find it quite bizarre the hostility directed at the Irish and Celtic fans in particular.
Everyone does remember it was the blue side of Glasgow that tore Manchester apart in 2008 yes...?

Not saying they do, but a fair few do as they sing about it non stop, so no love in from Manchester from me.Yeah that's right mate.
The entire Celtic fan base supports a terrorist organisation.
10/10!
About as many as join in Blue Moon at City.Yeah that's right mate.
