into November now, has anyone got any further confirmation that some ground/utility work for the North Stand Expansion is going to start after Christmas?

Robbie Williams is playing the Etihad in June Surely there'll be other concerts announced next summer. What does it mean for the next phase of the development of the stadium?
From what I was told by a reliable source about August time then the ground and diversionary work is due to commence in the new year and haven't heard anything to the contrary since. This want effect any concerts planned in the summer as the main structural work wouldn't commence till towards the start off next season similarly to the South Stand construction programme. The current planning permission expires next February so if any changes to the stand are to be made then an revised plan would need approval before then so we may get an idea of if the stand will vary from the South Stand if this happens.

Nothing. Concerts were on the summer they started the South Stand.

It looks as if City aren't bidding to host any of the 2021 World Cup matches. No mention of the Etihad. Old Trafford has been mentioned.
United best get the toilets fixed in time.
With having to cater for 76,000 diarrhoea ridden rats , they will, bomb alerts permitting , of course.

Does anybody know what is being built/ done outside of the southeast corner ? I've noticed in the last couple of weeks some sort of posts being put around the edge of the walk way between the stadium and away coach park, also stuff as been cut in to the stadium road way at that too, maybe some of them pop up bollards ?

Yep - steel posts been set in the tarmac and popup bollards - world's gone mad - I remember a day I went up to the shop about a year after the stadium opened - after I went and parked my car about 6 feet from the Commonwealth Suite glass entrance door to take a photo, never be able to that again!Does anybody know what is being built/ done outside of the southeast corner ? All the ITK posters are suggesting spades in ground for utilities starts in JanuaryAny updates on the North Stand extension? All gone very quiet. Is this going to happen or not?
Real work on the stadium (roof corners out first ISTR) probably won't start until after end of season and maybe not until after the concerts in the summer

The MEN are reporting that we are considering turning the north stand into safe standing, bringing the capacity to 62,000. Will that mean a big re shuffle for people in the south stand? Stwiching the family stand?

I just think that its taken us years to get the south stand to where we want it to be in terms of atmosphere etc thats I hoped thats where the safe standing would be.
Re-shuflling every again will set us back again

It's taken us years to get the South Stand to still be nowhere near giving us the atmosphere we hoped for.
Rip it up and start again.
