No when he went to his pocket and was about to blow his whistle he was doing what he was put there to do.....

But he then realised that wasn't part of the script and decided to stay on script...he will get a bollicking but it won't be for his performance but for raising suspicion that he is bent and the game was bent

I think he knows the defence is shit hence why he tried to sign bonucci and Laporte. Unfortunately he has to work with what he's got.

Having just witnessed the worst refereeing performance in history, what can the players do against such injustice?

In my opinion the only option left for our players was to walk of the pitch!

OK may not have been seen as good sportsmanship but would certainly have a shone a spotlight on the disgusting level of refereeing performance and corruption in the game!

As it is the referee officials performance will be brushed under the carpet and City have been punished with loss of 3 points and 2 players on 3 match suspensions.

This seems to happen every week at the moment and I am sick fed up of it

I couldn't have put it better myself. In my opinion Taylor is a cheat, end of.
 
At 55 years old I have seen some bad decisions over the years but that was by far the worst performance by a ref I have seen i still can't believe he did not send side show bob off. he truly bottled it.
 
**** I won't say I wish him dead as many others have as that's against the code of conduct but that linesman aswell wow

Maybe he should try Maffeo and Adarabioyo. Can't be worse than the current shirt holders.
 
I think the ref was shit but outside of a few mates and this forum I haven't heard anyone, including our own manager blame the ref.
 
Sound like spoilt brats now. As and as the ref was and he was truly dreadful, had we of scored our guilt edge chances the game was ours to win.

We didn't, we decided to defend badly, have an inept goalkeeper between the sticks and our heads went down. The ref needs to be criticised but we didn't lose because of him.
 
Thought the referee spoiled a good game of football , the decision not to send Clown Luiz off was the catalyst for some frustrated footballers that overspilled at the end , quite simply Chelsea didnt deserve to win this match they got some favourable decisions from the referee , took the 3 chances they had , whilst we missed half a dozen guilt egded chances and generally played them off the park . Our defence was stretched near the end because we ended up chasing the game , it is not our defenders who missed all the chances , it is not their fault or our manager ,we need to be more clinical depending on Sergio to get us out of shit every week will not work , other players have to chip-in and take their chances and if that game had ended up 5-3 or 6-3 , Chelski couldnt have complained. But how an inept wallflower like Taylor keeps on getting big games and shirking big decisions is a mystery , he is just not up to the job ,at least we have another twenty odd games to put this right its not terminal .

The last couple of games I have detected a change in Peps attitude to the fuckers. It will be interesting to see what he does/says

Completely spoilt brat attitude.....wake up FFS!

we were deservedly beaten......idivudual defenders Id have all of theirs baring Luiz over ours and tactically Conte has got is whole team performing...both defensively and offensively where as defensively at least we are wide open.....every week teams crate chances against us with very little effort.
