Keown was excellent, how many times did he say "unlucky" and still kept a straight face?
Loved the way they shut Keown up when he was criticising Maureen & the hierarchy at the rags!! Even his fellow pundit looked bemused at the way Chapman changed the subject almost before Keown had finished talking!!
was he shut down or was he just................. unlucky ha ha
Yes nailed to the seat. Otherwise he would get up and walk out.Is Baconface still alive or have they propped him up and nailed him to the seat like El Cid?
"You mean the Portuguese Blue? Loverley Plumage. It's won the lot ya know....What's wrong wiv it?"You could well be right Kaz. "'Ello. This manager what I purchased..."
"I'll tell you what's wrong with it, my lad. It's mad. If you hadn't nailed to the stands, it'd be kicking away the water bottles.""You mean the Portuguese Blue? Loverley Plumage. It's won the lot ya know....What's wrong wiv it?"
"I would say that it's a passionate breed myself. Do you want me to swap it? I'll give you a couple more French Pogbas for it for another 150 million...Or an old Dutch bird?""I'll tell you what's wrong with it, my lad. It's mad. If you hadn't nailed to the stands, it'd be kicking away the water bottles."
"I've got a slug. That will be more than a replacement"."I would say that it's a passionate breed myself. Do you want me to swap it? I'll give you a couple more French Pogbas for it for another 150 million...Or an old Dutch bird?"
"If it's called Giggsy I'll take it""I've got a slug. That will be more than a replacement".
"Nah. It's not dead it's just pining for the Thames""I'll tell you what's wrong with it, my lad. It's mad. If you hadn't nailed to the stands, it'd be kicking away the water bottles."
He's not pining. He's pissed off. Vis a vis the managerial processes, he's had his lot. All statements to the effect that he's an innovative manager are from now on inoperative. He's off his twig. He's rung down the curtain and joined the Wenger society."Nah. It's not dead it's just pining for the Thames"
