Ref for Saturday- Leicester away / Watford home

I see we have Oliver so that at least one nailed on penalty waved away.

I have zero faith in all of them and a few like Taylor are just fucking cheats end of.

Corruption happens in other top level professional sport (Cricket, Tennis, Snooker etc.), so we would be stupid to believe it doesn't happen in Football.

Apart from the players, the only people able to directly affect the outcome of a game are the officials; mainly the Ref (unless of course the floodlights mysteriously go out). Penalties, goals disallowed, sending's off, bookings etc. As it is a team sport, it would be difficult (not impossible) for an individual player to influence things unless they were in collusion with the manager or other players.

I don't know how much money officials get paid, but I'm guessing your average Far East betting syndicate has more financial clout. With some of the abysmal decisions that have been made (not just against us) by officials, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to believe that there is nothing shifty going on.

What can the match goers do about it,signs against the fa ? booing the PL music if there is one? must be able to do something
Its not really match going but if we start an online petition, if it gets over 100k signatures they have to debate it in parliament.

I dont know what they could do towards the fa on a football side but if we went down the lines of the poor refereeing inciting hatred amongst fans?

Dont know, but its something we could certainly do. Maybe even get media coverage behind it.

Also im sure other teams fans would sign it too. I dont think many think the refs are fair.

Something will have to happen sooner rather than later, booing isn't the answer for this one I don't think

I did a bit of research earlier this year about referee salaries, but can't remember where I saw the numbers. I think it's in the region of £70k to £120k a year and this to me is the issue. They're officiating in matches where even the youngest bit-part players on the bench are earning way more than them. That's an imbalance that surely must lead some to have an inferiority complex which clouds their judgement.

I'd like to see the idea of two extra referees sitting outside viewing TV coverage. If they both disagree with a ref's decision they can overrule and the on-field ref gets 10000 volts up his jacksy.

EDIT: I can't vouch for the accuracy of this site, but it's around the numbers I've seen elsewhere ... http://www.totalsportek.com/money/english-premier-league-referee-salaries/

Does anyone know anybody in the CIA - they uncovered corruption in FIFA.
And I'd get my family to sign a petition especially my wife as she is getting tired of me kicking her out of the house whenever the ref influences our games while other teams just get a pat on the back and a chocolate fish for their misdemeanours.

Just hope John Brooks from Melton Mowbray ain't the Lino helped Leicester no end, Agueros lace was offside 5 times last season...

I believe the Chelsea manager has form for this, we should ask him.

I really do not believe any type of conspiracy against City.
I do believe the current crop of officials are the worst in any of the major leagues in Europe.
I do believe 1 or 2 of the cnuts have a little thing against City. Altrincham as an e.g. see city as their main rivals.

Is it a coincidence that there always seems to be at least one official on our games now who has fucked us over in some way,be it ref, fourth official or linesman..

So, is it another coincidence that the coward Michael Oliver was appointed for a game in which Huth and Morgan were playing against Manchester City. I don't think so, right ref for the job again.
