Injured chap in the stand yesterday

young people ( in the main ) having a good time...... jumping around, singing and throwing beers - happens all the time at gigs/festivals and lots people do find it fun. id rather be doing that then standing in silence eating my prawn sandwiches.

It's probably me just moaning because I've grown up/old (take your pick depending on your veiwpoint).

66 arrests across a whole season. Wow, I'm sure we can all safely assume that that is indeed a "good chunk". The fact that Arsenal are second on 60 tells us all we need to know about how much of a barometer that table is because there's not a cat in hell's chance that their fans are the second worst behaved in the Premier League
I say.... Some of those tarquins can get jolly rough, and bally well up for a bit of Queensbury, don't you know?

I wouldn't say I've had a major problem in a near twenty year run of attending matches. There's been the odd skirmish here and there but nothing major.

If anything, I simply don't get the buzz anymore and my regular support is on the way out.

Abusing our fans is a bit of a speciality of ours I think. I was only talking to a mate this weekend about it, any sort of city fan who gets themselves well known amongst the supporter base is pretty much begging to me criticised, abused and threatened with physical violence. Off the top of my head I can think of;

Kevin Parker
Dave Wallace king of the kippax
Fanzone Danny
Some prominent members of the blue alliance
Daniel Timperley
Some of these fan channels that have popped up on YouTube like blue moon rising tv.

All of them taken abuse on here or Twitter or at the match. At one point a couple of the lads from the blue alliance were having to keep their heads down at aways as one supporters branch in particular had taken a disliking to them and were pretty much after battering them.

To me it's all down to a bit of who's a bigger blue bollocks.

I think you've gone off topic a bit there but seeing as though you've mentioned the Blue Alliance, I'm surprised you sprang to their defence - going off your previous post, their somewhat lively behaviour at away games is exactly the kind of stuff you appear to be criticising because I can assure you that bouncing around concourses and chucking beer about was very much part and parcel of a typical away day when travelling with them.

And that's not a criticism of TBA - as someone who travelled with them a few times, it was generally a good laugh and beats listening to Radio Fucking Four on a dry coach travelling with the official travel club any day of the week, but some of the tarts on this thread would've found their antics horrifying.

I think people forget what the main point of an away day is. It's to have a drink a good time with your friends and support your team. Others go get wasted do not support the team because they don't remember the match and throw beer about and fight. If that's all they want to do why don't they just sit in there local pub why travel hundreds of miles.

I'm sorry but where did I spring to their defence?

I merely pointed out that some blues will always look to have a go at other blues.

Well it certainly came across that way, which was rather odd going off your previous post. So are you actually saying you didn't approve of their behaviour despite complaining that people had it in for them? I'm confused here

I don't approve of throwing beer around a concourse. I don't approve of other blues actively looking to beat someone up over it.
