City v Watford post match

Better intensity and we mixed it up more. posession with a purpose.
I especially liked the amount of running at the Watford defence.
Quite a few misplaced passes tonight, but it didn't matter for the reasons above.

good result for us tonight. if we can beat Arsenal on the weekend it'll be a great week.
 
Good result and great to get 3 points at home! The clean sheet was a step in the right direction. Hopefully give us a boost before we play le arse!

That formation we played tonight needs to stay. Stop fucking around with 3 at the back or all these other crazy ideas. This is the formation that works for us.
 
Happy after the last few home results, only downside for me is after backing Zabba to be first goalscorer for the past few weeks with him playing more forward I never bothered tonight. Feckin sods law.
 
No easy games in the PL so I'm dead chuffed with a clean sheet and 3 points.
Instead of being hyper critical of the players and the manager, let's just enjoy the result for once is it :-)
 
Good win. I thought KDB, Otamendi ad Sterling had good games.

Worked really hard right from the off which was good to see. Watford worked really hard as well. A bit over physical. Key moment was a bad miss from Ighalo.

Zabaleta got MOM but I thought he and Toure were still off the pace a little. Some good moments from Yaya but he's a bit on the periphery of the game.

Good goal from Silva. If that had come earlier I think we would have won by more, but it was a dominant City performance without being free-flowing. Best thing about it was the total commitment from the players, You could tell they really wanted to win that.
 
Apart from Clichy I thought we were very good. Yaya, Zab, Sterling and de bruyne very good. Defence solid for 80 mins too.
 
The pressing that led to our second has been lacking lately

Hopefully a sign of us getting back to our early season performances
 
a well needed win, and a clean sheet, but Watford was the most open team we have played for ages and we looked toothless at times, nolito was awful and clichy looks well past his best.

Clean sheet and two goals, more optimism for Sunday now some good performances tonight, bring on Sunday !

It's a good job Ighalo didn't put that chance away. he was Zabaleta's man. In recent games, the opposition have more or less taken every single chance
