Burnley - Post match thread

Great win with 10 against 12. Kun was awesome when he got on. Brilliant finish. Good to see the team come out fighting. Dont know why we cant start the games playing like that.

I have lost any faith in Bravo coming good. He is a liability.

that dinho's tackle might have merited a red maybe true( it was not a dangerous tackle actually) but that just does not stack up with Rojo's fine efforts recently -fuck me this inconsistency in refereeing has to stop- they just do not know the difference- the tackle of Gray on Kolarov towards the end was dangerous- he could have easily done his knee ligaments- the dinho tackle might have bruised the lad's shin but no way was that meriting a red based on recent decisions. Mason is a pillock of the first order

Hate to say it as I like the kid, but Kelechi has been wretched this season, despite the goals. We really need Jesus to arrive and hit the ground running.

Why can't it just be locked and remain so it can still be viewed....like the pre-match thread.

Im not the technical guru mate but keeping it up and on view can cause the site to crash if its busy so it goes.

@Ric will be better placed to explain to you if you want to PM him.

Payet's going to penetrate these pussies.

He's already given up at Wet Spam sadly, touting a move to Le Arse or abroad if you believe the rumours. Still hope I'm proved wrong and he scores a worldie!

Great result, shit game, shit officiating, shit tackle from Ferny, but... we got 3 points, which is the most important thing.

Forget mason, we need to concentrate on what WE can do to get a result, we just got home today but our back line was once again fucking leaderless and abysmal. Stones can stay, bye bye the rest of em. Not fit for purpose, I'd feel safer if we had the gurning champion and all round fec, pj4 in our back line

We've just beat the PL's long ball merchants with 10 men for 2/3rds of the game and you have a pop at the defence. Bar Burnley's goal and Bravo's save at the end we defended excellently and they created fuck all.

At least give credit where its due!

Here's my thoughts:

Brilliant teamwork and spirit displayed in the second half. Brendan Rogers must be changing trousers as we speak.
Aguero was a massive influence on the game and we wouldn't have won it without him.
Feel bad for Kelechi, who never seems to do well when he starts.
Clichy's goal was the real turning point, and it was a very impressive finish too.
Otamendi good again but outshone by Kolarov who, at CB, is top class more often than not. Immense today.
We needed one of Sané or Nolito really.
Pep deserves huge credit for taking a calculated risk and figuring out how to win from 0-0 and a man down at 30 minutes. Most managers would shit themselves and look for a point.
Mason was awful at the little things today.
Fernandinho let himself down and is a very lucky man. No walking straight back in next time, give Fernando the spot he earned against Arsenal and make Dinho fight his way back in. We've shown we can do it without Fernandinho after all these last few weeks.
Bravo redeemed himself for now at the end but I'm finding it very hard to keep defending him.

Well Jim my stream is about a minute and half behind so I partly rely on the match thread to follow the game. It seems to be taken down the very moment the game ends and if possible could you keep it going for another couple of minutes. Thanks
Nothing to do with me, I'm afraid. You need to take that up with one of the lovely mods on here. I was only curious as the forum is behaving okay for me, even with the joke that passes for broadband over here.
