Premier League Games 30/31st,1/2/3/4th

Trying to win the ball in the box and a penalty = no red card.

Taking the man not the ball and giving away a penalty = red card.
Players who commit a foul to deny a goalscoring opportunity will no longer automatically be sent off, football's rule-making body has confirmed.

The previous 'triple-punishment' rule required a red card - and therefore a suspension - as well as the award of a penalty under those circumstances.

However, players committing accidental fouls that deny a goalscoring chance will now be cautioned instead.

But deliberate fouls will still incur a red card.

Those include holding, pulling or pushing, not playing the ball, serious foul play, violent conduct or deliberate handball in order to deny a goalscoring opportunity.

This is insipid from Gooners. Talk Shite must be wanking furiously.

I do though. That's what I'm saying.

Fair enough mate...found this on sky.

The law has now been changed so players committing accidental fouls that deny goal-scoring opportunities in the penalty area will not be automatically sent off, with a yellow card sufficient punishment.

As the amendment states: "When a denial of a goalscoring opportunity offence is committed by a defender in the penalty area, the penalty kick effectively restores the goalscoring opportunity so the punishment for the player should be less strong (e.g. a yellow card) than when the offence is committed outside the penalty area. However, when the offence is handball or clearly not a genuine attempt to play or challenge for the ball, the player will be sent off."

First 10 minutes of the second half going to be vital. If Arsenal come out fired up it could be a long second half but after that first half showing it wouldn't be a surprise if Bournemouth win by 3 or 4.

Like Sinclair, Roberts, Rodwell and Delph?
Thanks for supporting my point. Like I said, our scouting seems a bit shit. I don't know how you can include Roberts in that list???? The others you mentioned have hardly ever played for various reasons. I'm on about scouting and buying a few players that are good enough to play in the first 11. And I'm not having there aren't any around and the we're too big a club bollox.

Think that's Arsenal's problem. They never seem really fired up.
They play the same way no matter what and if it works, more the better else c'est la vie.
