Would love to see Jesus succeed here - would hate to see him having to ressurect his career elsewhere. #WWJD #JesusJokes
 
don't believe for a second that it's to protect the lad, they've gone out their way to not show him at all in training videos or pictures. That still image from twitter which was showing Jesus in the most recent training vid, that part of the vid was edited out for the Youtube version.
Can understand not hyping him up, it seems more like we aren't allowed to show him yet. be it a paperwork issue then it's only a matter of time.

Could it be an image rights contractual thing?
 
why do people on Bluemoon jump to so many conclusions, Its had a few weeks off football and they're getting him fit and ready to play. He might even play for the under 23's to get him ready rather than straight in to the Prem. Why do they need a big unveiling ? when do we ever do that with players ?.
He'll play when they deem him ready, he's a young lad dragged half way across the world in winter and cant speak a word of English

To be fair, most people are saying what you've said. It's only a small minority flapping needlessly.

Who raised the issue of the paperwork not being completed? The report I read in the Guardian suggested it was Pep, although that could be wrong. But I think its that issue that has created the flapping.

Will he be named as Jesus or G. Jesus on his shirt? Haven't had a name printed on a shirt since Aguero in 2012, but I quite like the sound of G. Jesus 33.
