I seem to be in a minority, happy that he's not going to be part of Everton squad and instead will (hopefully) be unveiled at home to Spuds

Happy with it being a lowkey signing, he doesn't need pressure, but it doesn't say much for City/FA and/or Palmeiras (whoever is responsible for the delay) that we're still waiting to register a 6 month old signing. Not happy about that, regardless of when we plan to play him.

I am furious. How am I supposed to come on here and whine about how he isnt good enough when he doesnt even play? Instead I'll have a whine about City not getting his paperwork sorted so he could play, which would in turn have given me the opportunity to whine about how he isnt good enough. Get your fingers out City.

Ah, thats better. Now, where did I put that half empty glass of water?

;)

Agreed. We all know S. American transfers can be complicated - but surely the club could have said something - even along the lines of "a few bits of paperwork still need to be sorted so don't expect anything for a week or so, but that's fine as it gives the lad time to get up to speed with our training and we don't want to rush him anyway" - which would have satisfied 99% of us

It would also give the press more amunition to fire.

He has only been here a couple of weeks and pep isn't going to play him until he is fit and ready

That is NOT the reason they have failed to register him though, is it?

There is a clear mistake here from someone, or at least we underestimated something.
Even if he didnt plan to bring him into the squad or 11, he will be signed on whenever we are allowed/figure out how to, this is not intentional..

Don't know, haven't got any clarification from anyone, have you?
