What is embarrassing is that once again, we are made to look like a bunch of useless twats. Nothing to do with being impatient.
Why is it embarrassing though? Surely until we know why its been delayed and whether its something within our control or not, we can't comment on if its a screw up.

It's a little frustrating that we sign a player in August who is not registered in time to play in this game but Everton sign Schniderlin (sp) in the last 48 hours and he can.

To be fair this would look a whole lot worse if Aguero was out injured, as it is it make little difference to us.

surely we signed him 5 months ago and loaned him back... should this not have been sorted then? If not, then the deal is not complete and could still fall through?

It doesn't matter whatever the reason is, the club's reputation will be tarnished. Some people will not give a toss about such things, but others do.

Anyway, that's my last word, because some people are becoming Trump-esque on the subject.

Yes i understand that, but realistically i don't think anyone outside City really cares if he is registered in time for Sunday or not as he was never going to play. We don't know why this has been held up so until we actually do then surely we cannot really say whether we look like incompetent muppets.

You can look like an incompetent muppet even if its not your fault. This cuts to the chase regards the ineptitude of our media/PR department which allows us to be libelled in the press week-in/week-out, to the huge detriment to our reputation and image, and yet does nothing about it.

Just another ;-)

Any examples?

i was told this last week by somebody ITK that it could be 4 to 6 weeks before we see jesus its papers and some other stuff that was not sorted out with his passport into europe and playing for city you can only have so many non europe players in your squad and then they have to be internationals with so many caps so the paper work can be held up

Rules for Non-EU Players

i think its about this and the club again have fucked up if you ask me so we my have to sell somebody or loan out somebody to add him to the list of players for both city premier league and champions league. if looking at the rules at that list it could be that

Yaya Touré will replace Gündoğan in the CL squad, but with Gabriel Jesus expected to be named, one foreigner must be left out. [Telegraph]

Note: Kelechi should now be eligible for the CL B-list, which would free a foreign spot for Gabriel Jesus to take instead of Kompany's.

I wouldn't rule it out however given that Khaldoon was quoted just today about the lad I'd be surprised if this was the case.

You'd think that if there was the potential of this falling through that our chairman would be dodging any press questions on him.

Fair enough mate, its all frustrating i know but hopefully with a few cracking performances this will all be forgotton.
