Gabriel Jesus

Everyone is guessing on here because of what we have been told which is very little. People have the right to question the hold up as nobody in this thread knows 100% what's going on.
Pep said the hold up was "paperwork between his old club and the FA"

What more do you need?

The website is absolutely fine on Windows 10/Chrome 64. Perhaps the problem is at your end?
Not on mine it's not. Fixtures page auto. comes on as 17/18 season hence 'no more fixtures'
As to Jesus; whine whine flappity whinge moan moan grizzle.
Drops dummy and leaves. :)

Was just doing some reading on Neymars transfer to Barca, from a Brazilian club to a European one which was a lot more complicated too. Didn't take anywhere near this amount of time
Are you joking here?

The President was forced to resign over it and several people went to court for fraud!

Neymar himself was recommended by the courts to serve a two year prison sentence.

The fact you aren't aware of the above is laughable.

Manchester City are confident they will be able to register Gabriel Jesus in time for next Saturday’s Premier League clash with Tottenham.

City boss Pep Guardiola confirmed on Friday that Jesus would not be registered with the Football Association in time to make his debut against Everton at Goodison Park this weekend.

It is understood the FA still needs to clarify certain documents before it can clear Jesus to play, though senior City sources believe the process is 95-97 per cent complete.

Just read this on goal.com looks reasonable to me!

.

EDIT: Off topic perhaps, but I just went onto mancity.com to check who we play after spurs and got the usual crap:

What a complete joke our website has become.

Where do you usually go for next seasons fixtures

  • Surely the longer it takes the better it is for Gabriel, more time to get used to his team mates
  • Get familiar with the club and the city, get climatised to the English weather.
  • And make him and his family feel more at home. Surely its to his advantage.

That may well be the case but it would be preferable if it was city's decision rather than an enforced one.

I don't see why MCFC, and the player should be penalised for a dispute between parties to which they no longer have a relationship: former agent and former club.

According to the reports I have read the matter is with the FA and not City

It probably has little impact in the long run as I can't see the player starting away at Goodison.

I doubt it, since I've tried it with Chrome and Safari this morning (and I don't have any problems with any other websites). It seems to be an intermittent bug - sometimes the fixtures are there and sometimes not.

Indeed. The rags default doublespeak for snubbed.

Rejected sounds better, any rags on here listen, any player your after that we really need is only coming g to Manchester you raggy cnuts. Were a bigger project with a brighter future, why settle for second best. See you in debtsville. TWATS!

Well isn't that interesting?!! I've no idea why it's changed to 2017/18 (I've never touched it) but I guess that's what the problem is. As I said in an earlier post, this seems to be an intermittent bug at their end - sometimes I see fixtures, sometimes not - and since i *never* change the season, then it must be a bug.

Wouldn't it be better/more appropriate to direct all this to a technical queries thread instead of clogging up a player thread, or is it just about bitching about the club and if that's the case I'm sure there's a wipe your fanny thread somewhere

I have always given the benefit of the doubt to the club in the past but this seems to becoming endemic.
FFP - they moved the goal posts - we got caught out
Registering under age players
Where about of players unknown for doping tests
Players taking weeks to clear even though signed 5 months ago (maybe FA isuue but are we rattling their cage!!)
I seem to remember some other stuff around loan deals etc no being properly drawn up etc...
if there is a way to snag on something, we seem to find it. As fans we are the clubs clients. If our product is being hampered in anyway it is only fair we know what is happening and raise concerns or questions. Some would seem happy to brush it away only for it to happen again. I am surprised at a few of the posters taking the stance they have as in other contexts they go big on accountability and responsibility...

You say even though signed five months ago. Presumably he could only be registered with the FA after he left the Brazilian club (otherwise he would be registered with two clubs) Therefore the F A and City have only be dealing with his registration for a few weeks.

Maybe you should start a moaning at the club thread rather than repeating yourself in here, just an idea like

Some are just provocative shits who lead unfulfilling lives.

So not the clubs fault.

Registering under age players
Who were theses players?

Where about of players unknown for doping tests
Club and testers knew where the players were but the paperwork wasn't updated correctly.

Players taking weeks to clear even though signed 5 months ago (maybe FA isuue but are we rattling their cage!!)
Already been stated by Pep it's a problem with the FArce and his old club

I seem to remember some other stuff around loan deals etc no being properly drawn up etc...
Any links to these deals
