When the "system" was put in place, two-thirds of the United States didn't even exist! The system in place today is not only UNDEMOCRATIC, it is heavily biased towards the LEAST POPULOUS STATES, which are all conservative, Republcan strongholds.

As I've stated already, without the Electoral College, we wouldn't have had a DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED Republican President since Bush I. That means no Bush II and certainly no Trump.

Demographically, the United States is moving inexorably towards a more progressive electorate, which is why Republicans try so hard to Maemo, something of the red herring that is voter fraud, and cling to their "oh so rugged and individualistic" flyover states and racist southern tier...all of which receive FAR MORE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT than the Blue States that pay for it! The irony is palpable!,

"Keep the Government out of my Medicare!" was dumbass laughable ignorance before November 8th, but now we have a dumbass in the White House who thinks just like this! When Merkel is having to explain U.S. TREATY RESPONSIBILITIES to the fucking President of the country, it is not only embarrassing, but is yet another reminder why we USUALLY elect people with some experience AND INTELLECT. He has neither.

I'm sick to death of all of the misguided, naive, deluded left wing fantasists, who think that controlling who is allowed and who isn't allowed into a sovereign country is an act of racism.

Hasn't the example of Germany and Sweden clearly shown that unfettered and unvetted immigration from the Middle East is a sure fire recipe for disaster? How many more no-go areas do we need before we realise that the mix of left-wing, good intentioned naivety, combined with extreme radical Islam, is a sure fire recipe for disaster?

If preventing people from settling in your country is racist then Australia and New Zealand are the most racist countries in the world and we should put the strictest sanctions in place immediately. Of course to say they are racist is nonsense; it is their country and quite rightly it is they who decide who can and cannot live there.

Let's be clear. Trump isn't saying that Muslims are not allowed into America full stop because he doesn't like Muslims. What he is saying is that the potential threat from allowing radical Islam fighters into America puts the American people at increased risk. Currently, there is no way of identifying who is, and who isn't a radical Islamist, and as such until he can distinguish between the many good Muslims and the few misguided dangerous ones, he has no choice but to ban all Muslims from countries where radical Islam is at its most fanatical.

This isn't racism, it's common sense. Wake up people and stop swallowing the holier than thou shite, spouted by the mainstream media.

I think it's quite fair tbh. A billionaire is a 'thicko' according to most on here. It's just ludicrous. Say what you want about politics but to question his intelligence when he out maneuvered the GOP, DNC and media and turned $1million in to multiple $billions.
