West Ham - Post match thread

A lot more to come from Kun I am sure of that but if we look towards a Griezmann or another key goalscorer then Kun might be moved on.

We need three top goal scorers if we are to make inroads into trophies.

No way is Kun being moved on, looking forward to seeing the Kun/Jesus act blossom.

not a fucking clue what that means but made me laugh.
Means am excited lol. Carnt get to far ahead of ourselves but we was really really good and at such a young age or ages the future looks bright. Its gotta be the most feared forward line in europe in years to come its finally coming together happy fucking days just so happy haha bluearmy

You can tell the writing's on the wall for Aguero when Pep talks about our front three tonight. "So much pace", "Jesus is a fighter, he helps with our high pressing".

In contrast, Aguero is losing pace and is far too passive at times. I think if he isn't already, Jesus will very soon be our outright first choice striker. The all important breakthrough De Bruyne goal doesn't happen if Aguero's playing, because he would never make that return pass. Gabriel Jesus already has more assists than Aguero this season, not just in the Premier League, but all competitions too. We look much more of a team without Aguero.

That front 3 is unreal.
Aguero to China for 100 million? ;-)

Absolute class performance from front to back....our front 3 of Gabbi, Sane and Sterling is electric and with Merlin and KDB pulling the strings just behind it is like watching poetry.

Chelsea too far ahead, no we should never give up and we wont, i thought we looked like hitting a great patch of form and just at the right time. Maybe the league title may be one step to far....but with our forward line looking great, and also looking more defensively stable.....

Dare we say it, Champions League anyone !!!!!

Sometimes folks need to see these things to understand it. If someone has argued we would have been better with Sanchez than Aguero. Most would cry blue murder. But watching young Jesus on a day like this shows how that is possible. Sometimes it's not always like for like.

Aguero is individually great, players like Gabriel and Sanchez are team good. They add a fluidity you can't measure in individual goals.

I think it's too early to write Aguero off. He may want to go himself but he is still a world class player. I would rather have both with us and rotate all four of them.

I would be more worried if I were Kelechi. I don't think he has improved at all this season and can see him going.

Spot on but sometimes our weakness has been delaying replacing ageing players. We have in the past stood still and I think we must evolve all the time. Yaya and Sergio are fantastic players but when you see the impact of having two 20yr old forwards making the best forward in the league fight for his future it has to be a good thing for the club. Most importantly I am very happy that when he does leave it will be as a legend rather than how his dumb agent wanted by trying to push a big payday through via bad advice.

There needs to be a balance. I agree we have let too many players age and our signings have been poor overall but finally we are seeing a bit of pace and quality. However, expecting 3 20 year olds to do the business week in week out is a lot to ask.

If we sign 2 full backs a better keeper and a world class midfielder to complement what we have then we will have hit the jackpot.

I think we are sorted, with Kun and Itchy added to hat we have, especially considering we have at least three midfielders and wingers who can rotate in there, and maybe a youngster who can grab a game. Problem now is keeping everyone happy!!

Kun did not look well pleased on the bench (tbf, who would?!), but after that game who COULD you drop based on performance, and do we have to nurse him along after an injury? I love Sergio as much as the next man, but coaches play Systems and if you don't fit the system, that's a problem...as Zlatan found at Barca.

I hope against hope that Sergio has another gear...or two...in him, because these young guns are just getting warmed up and are a couple of steps ahead already...at 19, 21, and 22 today, and that's not including Itchy!

No worse than 3rd in the League (no CL qual round), an FA Cup in the Cabinet and AT LEAST getting past Monaco in the CL would be an excellent first transition season. Throw in two or three key signings in the summer, and we make look ridiculously strong for next season.

How can he improve with no game time.

It's one of those performances where you could literally wax lyrical about virtually everyone!!!
The front 3 will rightly get all the plaudits, it's frightening what they are capable of and it's so so so exciting for all of us!

Now we've seen a glimpse of that front 3 and not forgetting Aguero of coarse we've also seen silva Debruyne and Yaya now being deployed differently!
I've thought even with the signing of gundogen that we were perhaps still short in CM department. But yaya silva and Debruyne for me are mirroring the Yaya xavi and iniesta of the golden Barcelona midfield! Add Fernandinho and gundogen the midfield doesn't worry me at all anymore!
Silva Debruyne and Yaya almost seem like new signings to me what with there new deeper roles!

Sat in the bottom tier, atmosphere was fucking awful! I hope I never have to visit that ground again. Never met so many tourists
