15 mins injury time?

From the time when I had too little money and too many tunes to chase. My copy is on that same Streetsounds edition. I still have all the main series ( about 20 volumes?). Remember this for the tinkly piano dropping in and out. Easy Street again I notice.

This full album version and the 12" mix absolute classics. It builds and builds to the crescendo at the end. Felder's sax break is my favourite bit tbh, but it's about perfect from start to finish.

Alfie Davison did a great version later. Both great, this one is a bit smoother imo

She was only 16 when " come to me" broke and struggled to cope with the pressure. Was pushed too hard and lost confidence. Unidisc did a bright pink remix last year so I can honestly say I've stood by her. Guilty pleasure.

"One step away" was 70s so doesn't qualify. Toss up between it and "loveline" as my fave Tavares track. Always lifts my mood when it comes on, great shout. Ever heard Victor Tavares' "show me" on Malaco?
