Went to Vegas last November. You're doing the best "thing" in visiting the Grand Canyon. Other than that :- I did the 3 Stratosphere rides ($35 for all three) hell of a buzz. There are ticket booths on the "Strip" where you can buy cut-price tickets for shows AND dinner too. Well worth a visit...
