    Brighton & Hove Albion (H) - Wed 7th Jan, 19:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I would leave one out of the free no 10 role. Either Foden or Cherki on the bench Doku in for the one missing out. No idea who is available for CB, guess it will be Ake and Kusanov If Gonzales is available, swap Bernardo for him

Sunderland (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

We have different views, I think his tackling is good and at one stage last night he had 2 players on him in a tight situation which he won and started a counter attack. He is also very fast on the recovery. The alternative would be Rico, skilful player but not suited to being a full back...

I disagree imo Nunes is one of best full backs in the league. The big problem was both central defenders were slow. Kusanov would have been better handling the long balls. Sunderland were excellent in giving us no time on the ball. Really poor performance by Haaland. Sometimes you need some...

Antoine Semenyo | Medical at City Thursday - Sky (p230)

Semenyo will probably get his 5th yellow tonight , as long as he gets caicedo booked at the same time , that will be fine

Match Thread | Notts Forest vs. Manchester City (27/12/25)

Thanks to a virgin media fault, crashing all services, I can't watch anything. Was able to see the first 25 mins, Sounds like I am not missing much

    Oscar Bobb

I rate Bobb higher than Savinho (although he is not as bad as people think) Bobb has better close control and can beat several players in a small amount of space. What he appears to lack is genuine pace, which is a problem in the latest adaptation of Peps tactics

He looked knackered, not surprisingly. If we can get Rodri back fit we will be controlling games again with him and Nico in the middle

Fulham (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

For me it comes down to the passion to defend by closing down opportunities. To be fair some of the goals from Fulham and City were worldies From a defensive perceptive the first 2 goals were half chances that required excellent finishes from Fulham If you look at Arsenal their players throw...

There is a clip of Robertson clearly pushing Donnaruma before standing alone offside. I am not responding anymore because you will never accept any opinion other than your own

Don’t be so arrogant challenging my honesty. I was implying that the foul was a part of the action and yes he was definitely offside. How could he not be he was stood alone in front of the GK It is subjective but factually he was offside and that is an offence. If he stood still that is...

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

In that clip if Doku pushes Robertson he can only go forward, somehow he manages to go backwards into the GK with his arms pushing that is not possible when being pushed forward Donnaruma ends back on his line. He is coming out to narrow the angle at the time. That is a foul

You have obviously not seen the clip where he pushes Donnaruma. It did not in anyway precede him being pushed by Doku off balance The only person that was anywhere near Robertson was Donnaruma.

Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

The key move was Robertson pushing Donnaruma as the corner was taken. Donnaruma was pushed back with his weight landing on the right side. There was two reasons to disallow it. Either offside as Robertson ducked or the ball would have hit him. Second reason was a straight foul for a push If he...
