    Jim Melrose's goal v Notts County 1984 / 85

Came from a goal kick. Defender on his back, he chested or cushioned the ball then hit a firm but definitely high looping shot with his 2nd touch from around the edge of centre circle. I was dead level halfway up the kippax. Traveled 120 miles to see that.

    No History

Strange how a club with a supposed lack of history.....can have the longest gap in English football between major trophy wins. FA cup 1904..........FA cup 2019. 115 years and still winning...

Todays Pitch Invasion. City v Swansea

Great to see so many young lads on the pitch. Reminds me of my heydays charlton 85 etc. New generation of blues coming through watching the best team we ever had. What's not to like?

Will it be your best moment?

Bang on. As a fan of 40+ years all my dreams and more are already realized against the rags. We will win the league whatever happens Saturday. They're the small time club having their cup final this week. Our biggest game is Liverpool and the rags are irrelevant. How ironic for those of us...

    City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

Weren't complaining about it before their 'new money' were they? The penny has dropped now and they realize the drawbridge has been pulled up. If you're outside the elite now, you will never get in. The new problem now is that even the old established elite can't keep pace anymore. There just...

    Full Backs?

Anyone think of any good reasons Sagna is currently unemployed? I mean apart from the fact that he is devoid of pace and has no talent whatsoever?

    Alternative striker options

Obviously Shane Long would be perfect then.

    City 10 Huddersfield 1

Haha great! I was in GEF stationed at home (N.Luffenham). Train to the game, sat in the main stand, loved it, 1 man pitch invasion at the end which is still on YouTube. Anyone remember typical City? I came home for the away league game too. We had gone to pieces by then, late in the season and...

Why Are We So Much Better Than Last Year?

The full backs and keeper are the key reasons. For a Pep team to function properly, all 11 players must be confident, intelligent, talented, progressive footballers. Bravo lost his confidence, Sagna and Clichy were dreadful. The difference that Walker and now even Delph makes is immense.

Well that would be fantastic. Leaving home is a wrench at first - stick at it and stick together you will reap the rewards.
