Joni did to be fair - he's been predicting Ukrainaian Dronmageddon targeted at Russia for well over 7 months.
I think he's saying the Ukrainian drone happy time will fade - probably right. But while drone evolution is so rapid, I just can't see Russian centralisation allowing them to catch up...
More on Spiderboy's post above...
Ukrainian mid range heavy drones are starting to find big Russian Ammo dumps.
You know, the type Russia loves to have nearer to the front lines but recolated them back beyond a safe distance over a year and a half ago to stop them kabooming From HIMARs...
Russia will start to catch up - but unlike Joni's pessimism - I somehow don't think Russia will allow enough decentralisation of command and control to catch up to the level required to keep pace with Ukraine any time soon.
Russia will have huge difficultly adapting to Ukrainian development...

Not just thr Donbas - Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mkkoliv, and Odessa with a buffer zone in Sunny & Kharkiv were the minimalist aims. Everything west of the Dnipro was next on the wish list - But the reality was Putin wanted the whole lot.
Great comment by Steve Rosenberg.
I'm surprised he's still allowed to report from Russia to be honest.
