I'm not calling him out for his penalty miss. That can happen to anyone. I'm calling him out for not being good enough to play in our midfield and being directly responsible for multiple instances of dropped points while also contributing very little to us gaining points.

Remember when Valverde scored completely unmarked to equalise in the first leg from a simple cross? No prizes for guessing who was supposed to be marking and "controlling" him?

He also didn't cover himself in glory against Spurs or Chelsea both of which we held leads when he was on the field and both where we went on to drop points against despite the superhuman control that he gives our midfield.

Disagree completely! Every single time he comes on we completely lose the midfield. Could t disagree more. He is SUPPOSED to be that kind of midfielder but it's a myth. He provides NOTHING except to make me angry.
