    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

There was a graphic I saw recently with the most two footed players in the PL this season. Cherki was number 1. Gvardiol was number 3. Semenyo was 4 Guéhi was 5 Makes you wonder if Pep has seen Arsenal overtake us in the left footed player tables, and is looking to take it to the next level.

Marc Guehi | Leading target for City (p28)

There's nothing churlish about it :) But for injuries, I think Stones could have been considered the best defender in the world. Doesn't change that those 90% stats, and the 57% last season are based on PL appearances of less than five x 90 minutes this season, and just over six x 90 minutes...

Marc Guehi | Leading target for City (p28)

Yep - neatly highlighting the reason they hide players who haven't played a minimum number of games. He was 57% last season from a similarly small sample.

Here you go. Josko next in the list, and got to say I was surprised Dias was top - he must be winning them without much fuss. https://fbref.com/en/comps/9/misc/Premier-League-Stats ps. It also shows that the Dutch Lamppost at the other end of the M62 still has one use.

Marc Guehi | Leading target for City (p28)

I noticed this season that we're second in the league for winning aerial duels. Checked out Dias, and apart from Haaland, nobody else at City comes close to his record this year. On topic, Marc Guehi's record in aerial duels IS a lot better than anyone at City this season.

    We've tried.

    Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

They're two points ahead, having dropped points in three of their last six matches, and had more than a little luck against Wolves. They also need to come to the Etihad. We're clearly not a 100pt season team right now, but Arsenal don't appear to be anything like as good as we thought they...

Will we win the league this season?

And Craven Cottage had only seen ten Premier League goals all season up to that point. We nearly doubled the total in one night. Sometimes crazy things happen.

Just two wins at home in the league this season. Their position is based on having the best away record in the league, so hopefully not as tough as it looks.

There was something in the Athletic last week, showing that Pep makes more changes in the second half of the season. Given that he used to flip the teams regularly in the CL, as it was so easy to qualify, he's definitely going to have to spread minutes around soon.

    7 | Omar Marmoush - 2025/26

Jesus had a goal or assist every 100 minutes for City in14000 minutes. That's consistently top-tier output across multiple seasons. His biggest problem was injuries, which have just got worse at Arsenal.

Sure - but Salah has been stuck (mostly) on the bench for seven whole days. In fact, that Leeds game was at 5.30pm, so it's been MORE than a week.

Most assists in the Premier League this season - and he's been on the pitch for just over a quarter of the time!

Haaland’s penalties…be careful what you wish for!

They *could* be true, but they're not :) As far as I can see, Haaland has scored 3 of his last 5. Marmoush missed one during that time, but it's still not 1 in 5.

Against Liverpool I think that is. I remember Mahrez and De Bruyne missing important ones.
