He’s frustrating as hell but he’s got to be a starter. At least he has shown that he can find the back of the net and provide for Erl occasionally even if not consistently. Sav, Bobb, Bernie currently offering nothing from wide areas.
Tuchel has recognised it for England and it has transformed the national team. In his physical, powerful version of England only Bellingham will get back into the current starting XI and Foden won't even be on the plane to the US. Maybe this is the newest era of player and the City blueprint...
I think the lack of goals output from our wide players and the powder puff physicality of the majority of our midfield is alarming and means we will most likely be a top 4 side rather than a title winning one.
Best performance from Nunes in City shirt, O'Reilly excellent, Gonzales tidy and looking more and more comfortable taking the ball and playing forward but Erl was the main man for me today. He's stepped up this season not just with his goals and become the leader that we need him to be. Foden...
He was not good! He was adequate and prone to absolute howlers with regularity that cost us points. Right now he's one of two poor options so I guess we will have to just go with it and hope his concentration improves.

Agreed with everything until the part about Nunes. He’s a total liability. I would love him to be a reliable squad player but for £50m he’s been a disaster.
Akanji has to play. He's the only player with any kind of pace and physical presence at the back. Without him we'd have been undone on more than the 1 occasion that led to the goal for Palace. Nunes is also a total liability.
