It's fair enough to mention the price tag but where is the context that we started five players who cost us virtually nothing namely: Foden, Garcia, Steffen, Zinchenko, Harwood-Bellis, and Doyle. To present information in such an unbalanced way is just dishonest. The BBC also got it wrong by...

    Taylor Harwood-Bellis - 2020/21 Performamces

I thought Taylor played well at Preston as well and I think he is a better prospect than Garcia. But tonight he seemed to lack confidence and so did Tommy Doyle. To make the grade you have to stand out, even as a teenager. Both Nedum and Micah looked much better at the same age and it was easier...

    Cheltenham Town (A) | Post-Match Thread

Thanks. We had a similar experience when we travelled to Newport. Their fans and their club were total class. I thought your team were superb tonight and so were your Chairman and Manager. I am gutted I couldn't go to the match as it is a ground I have never visited. Cheltenham gave us more...

I presume this is a spoof post.

To be honest as someone who braved the mudheaps at Halifax it would have been a bigger disgrace losing tonight given the way the modern game is.

The funniest comment was: "Now that De Bruyne is out will Foden get more game-time?" Phil has played more times than KDB so far this season. In fact with 25 games he has the third highest appearances just below Sterling (26) and Rodri (27). These pundits are total morons. Can't they use Google FFS?

He really is shockingly bad. Since his injury he has become a liability.

Agree totally. Foden dragged us back from the brink. There were some spineless displays tonight from some of our players. The front three were terrible. I am pleased that Gabby and Torres scored but they have both got to step up to another level. It wasn't a lack of effort from anyone in our...

50 Years ago today. Chelsea v City FA cup

Yes I love that footage and especially the City fans singing Na Na Na..Na Na Na...Hey Hey Hey...King Colin. That was a brilliant result against Chelsea who were a great side at the time and the FA Cup holders. I went to the home leg of the Euro semi but injuries stopped us progressing. Bell was...

Here is the FA Cup win. I listened to it on the radio at home. It seems like a huge away following, even for those days.

Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

Those who were accused of the hacking have not found it impeded their careers at Liverpool FC Michael Edwards is now Sporting Director, Julian Ward is Assistant Sporting Director, and Dave Fallows is Head of Recruitment. They are the blue-eyed boys as far as JW Henry and Tom Werner are...

Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

I have always suspected that City agreed a settlement because we were concerned that our own security may have been lax. It is clear that Liverpool acted illegally but if, for example, staff at City were lax with their passwords, perhaps sharing them with other staff members (I have worked in...

A rule that has been in operation for decades where a attacking player is played onside if the ball comes from an opposing player (the only recent change was to rule out deflections by insisting that the opposing player had to play the ball "deliberately." Just the same as a bad backpass by a...

To very senior positions and I think they are still there at the top of their recruitment team.

Investigation in Liverpool's 'hacking' of our computer systems

What they actually did was log-in using someone else's details (ie not their own which had been deleted once they left). I believe that is hacking. What I suspect though is that the security culture was so bad at City that staff shared passwords etc which may explain why we didn't want to pursue...
