John Robertson, great Forest winger, Rest in Peace

I lived in Nottingham for a couple of years in the 1970s as a student. He was a superb player. Forest were a pretty good Division 1 (now Premier) league team at the time but I moved on before Clough became manager.

Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

I disagree about Ake, but he would probably agree to a move to help him get to the World Cup. He had a couple of difficult years with injuries and despite that, he still looks solid when given time on the field. He might not be as fast so maybe it is in his best interest to find another club, on...

Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

We’ve seen so many rumours like this come to nothing. If Semenyo comes a few have to go for sure, but I think the squad is good enough as it is. But I am not Pep.

    7 | Omar Marmoush - 2025/26

Semenyo isn’t as good as Doku, Marmoush, Cheki or Savinho. Unless Pep lets Savinho go I can’t see us wasting money on Semenyo.

    4 | Tijjani Reijnders - 2025/26

If and when Rodri is fit again, and playing regularly, Reijnders will certainly be an asset upfield. Silva’s contract expires in the summer and has been a great servant, but there have been rumours for three or four seasons now that he would like to go back to Portugal or Spain. I think Bobb may...

    Nottingham Forest (A) - Sat 27th Dec, 12:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

We are in our 70s now and won’t be entertaining this year, both daughters and families are going elsewhere so we will just have a nice roast and enjoy a quiet day. It sounds boring but on the Sunday after we will have a huge feast with all of them. So if Pep is short of numbers for Forest away...

    Media discussion - 2025/26

Merson hs always hated City, as has Gallagher. As for Neville and Owen don’t get me started

If you had to move to London and you had to follow a team , who would it be?

City. I live in Bournemouth now but a true CTID. As for living in London, I would rather live in a tent in the Cairngorms.

Might Jack Grealish play for City again?

No way, he just never really got the City way. Biggest mistake by Txiki, closely followed by Phillips.

    David Walliams allegations

Can’t stand the man. A friend took her daughter for a book signing and waited for nearly an hour, three short of the signing he got up and walked away, saying he needed a break. Never came back. Nasty person

I loved his song “Road to Hull”. Sorry I meant Hell, which means the same thing. Great songwriter though, RIP

    Cool stuff on the radio

We saw the anniversary show live in Poole couple of months ago, they were brilliant.

Personally I would have preferred a draw, but can’t stop laughing about how crap United are

Pep giving a youngster some game time in the Premier League suggests he sees some potential. This might be another Cole Palmer moment or he may grow into the squad like Foden and O’Reilly. Good to see the lad getting his first EPL game though.
