I don't know if people read ESPN i usually don't but today i saw that Mark Ogden had written about yesterdays game, he hates city so i was interested if he said anything positive about us this time. Unfortunately most of his text was a dig at Sterling...... Below was half of Mark Ogdens match...
in a West brom, West ham, Stoke, Newcastle we would have talked about him as one of the top midfielders in the league in my opinion, fair enough he did not suit us but in a more defensive team, he would have been brilliant
This, Sterling has to start, he was one of our top 3 players last season, but dropped of because he was overplayed, now that he is rested and the season starts, he should be one of the first names on the teamsheet, even before Aguero, Jesus in my opinion
Even at a buy-back of 50m that is great business by City, if he gets as good most of us think he will become we can buy him can for essentially 25m and if we buy him back when he is that good 25m will be like a piss in the ocean for a home grown premier league proven player.
