Until there is a sensible viable public most likely subsidised public transport system it's only going to get worse. Public transport should be in public hands it's the only viable solution, the private module appears to be subsidised purely to pay the shareholders dividends.

The tool theives would love that, where would people put the vans may I ask? What about people carriers/ taxis etc based on van chassis? Would they be ok? Some new estates have banned parking of commercial vehicles even on driveways, just caused further issues.

Grew up in a pub in the mid to late 90s, it was £500 ish per month, they came and checked how many seats you had and based it on that back then. They also had people checking for dodgy subscriptions / domestic subs shown in a pub. A mate of my dad's got fined £700 for showing his domestic sub...

Alot like business attire dress codes are from a time gone by imo. Only certain situations or positions call for formal clothing, I'd say presenting football isn't one of them, similarly most offices I go into the staff are rarely in shirt and tie.
