Good points. I think a lot of people don't know how Israel effectively used terrorism (Irgun) to create the state and regarding South Africa I suppose your right, but whole different topic/thread I suppose.

It generates fear, which is what they intend. But I don't think it will make our government rethink it's foreign policy. If anything it gives more excuses to go into places like Syria. Is it that they think it's some sort of revenge?

Sadly it has become the norm that this sort of event is expected to happen every now and then. It's heart breaking to see that people going just going about, minding their own business are targets for terrorists. What do they hope to achieve? Has terrorism ever worked?

Great spectacle of football and certainly game of many missed opportunities. Been the story of out season so far. Created many chances but just can't seem to convert them.
