It does to me as well but when you think of it you always remember the better things that happened, which were fewer and fewer as we got to end of Maine Road and there was a lot of negativity about the City of Manchester Stadium, as it was at the time, it actually turned out it was the best...

I think there is an awful lot of nostalgia in your view that the match day atmosphere will never be as good as Maine Road. I can remember some unbelievable atmospheres, at the Etihad and moments, like the Aguero moment and the Gundo moment where the roof was lifted off the Stadium miles better...

At first yeah, but then all bit tedious and very tiring as a eight year old, we walked to the match for years I just got used to it in the end.

My dad used to make me walk to the match from Openshaw every home match from being eight years of age.
