The new arena isn't on the 'Collar Site' land is it? From my memory the land that came into the JV (and is subject to a time limit for use) was the curved parcel of land that was directly next to the stadium. Its been a while since I looked at any of this but wasn't the piece of land the arena...

Cheers, I wasn't concerned as the JV could always be flexible enough to accommodate delays but it was always was going to be the canary in the mine which would show signs of issues moving forwards

Can anyone remember when the JV deal on the Collar Site land ends? iirc If we don't break ground i time the land goes back to Council ownership so I would hope something specific is announced soon so that planning and prep works will be done in time.

Expansion of the Campus is now considered a priority. A feasibility study of the future use of the current landholdings (Collar Site I assume) was clear that additional land purchases would make for a much more attractive proposition. Those snippets came to me second hand so cannot guarantee...

They seem to finally have brought our the big guns for MIPIM vis a vi City- I wonder who will represent ADUG or speak o behalf of the plans? I think there will be an expansion of the Campus, further investment in a university presence on the wider site. Incidentally Disney have taken 100%...

I think this project is precisely why the development of a unique,world class visitor attraction on the Collar Site has stalled.

A couple of things in play, City are the poster boys for the new football business with CFG etc and everything the club does us now is pulled apart - negative news about City sells a lot more than good news so it won't ever stop. The second issue is that the club have done far too much too soon...
