Bernardo and Foden aren’t wingers anymore. Marmoush is poor there. That leaves Doku, Savinho and Cherki, none of whom are great goalscorers. I think the idea with Semenyo is similar to when we wanted Mahrez/Alexis in addition to Sane/Sterling/Bernardo back in 2018

His lack of presence despite being 6’1 is astonishing. Rico Lewis and Bernardo are tiny and get stuck in more than him

I think there’s a bit of Sergio Ramos about him. Elite athlete, great on the ball and immense attacking threat for a defender. But there’s a mistake in him at any given moment

Ehh I disagree, anyone mid 20s and below basically grew up on social media. At this point it’s unrealistic to just say that people should just block it out imo. And even if they do, friends, family and/or teammates will almost certainly be reading it. It’s simply too big to avoid.

He’ll never be a high level goalscorer imo. But if he can get 10-12 a season consistently and keep up with his relentless dribbling and creative threat it’ll be fine. Hasn’t deserved even half of the criticism he’s got from “fans”
