    Enzo Maresca

No that is not obvious. Do you think Arsenal play better football than say Bournemouth. Peter Reid’s Man City side was better than Brian Hortons but I know which team I would prefer to watch. The managers tactics will dictate what football is more enjoyable. Personally, unless, he has evolved...

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

I think he has a lot of potential, especially playing on the left wing, where his role is to beat his man and deliver the cross. But, I think also to fully realise your potential, and be a really great player, you need a bit of fire in your belly, desire to win and I just don’t see that in him.

I had to pay a tout 40 quid for a ticket (those were the days) but well worth it to see Niclas Jensens volley.

Is the lack of Saturday matches becoming a problem?

I suppose it varies person to person but I still think a 3pm kickoff on a Sunday would not be great with the way the transport system is around Manchester. Also most people take Sunday as a day to recover and prepare for work. Getting back from the game, for a 3pm kickoff late in the evening, I...

Will we win the league NEXT season

It was embarrassing tonight. got asked if the Saka handball was a penalty and the response was ‘no not for me, I don’t want to see a pen given for that’ which is absolutely nothing to do with the question. What they think of the rule is irrelevant it’s what the rule actually is. Then there...

Will we win the league NEXT season

Really great post and I would agree with the vast majority of it. Liverpool will be an interesting one, as a lot of the new signings underperformed (Wirtz, Kerkez, Isak) and also the regulars (Konate, Salah, McCallister etc). I still think they have a lot of great players so will be interesting...

Who do you want as the next manager...

Yes he has done a fantastic job and the style of play, as a fan, is very pleasing on the eye. Whether they are his decisions, or the clubs, he seems to target fast attacking forwards who, again, are exciting to watch. It’s hard to know who will prove more successful but I think the football...

Is the lack of Saturday matches becoming a problem?

It would be a disaster for fans who need to travel a long way. Sunday 4:30 kick offs invariably require a wasted day off work travelling back/recovering. Additionally public transport is terrible. The lad sat next to me missed the after match stuff with Pep on Sunday due to the issues with the...

    Let’s get organised - ITK

I just believe the rumours I want to believe and the ones I don’t want to happen are a crock of cr&p by a internet no mark. Example: Maresca to City - crock of cr&p :-). Works well for me.

    The Post Pep Blues?

More I think about this to be honest the worse I feel. It’s definitely up there as one of the saddest moments supporting the blues, including all the relegations. I’ve been going since 84 and I’m struggling to think of a manager who last 4 years in charge, Pep has managed us for 20 percent of...

    Prime Aguero or present Haaland

Aguero for me and it’s not even close. More involved, made the team much better and would make his own goals, score from everywhere and score all types of goals. Haaland is a great goalscorer and comes across as a great teammate.

Chelsea Fans Yesterday London / Wembley

Same on the Chiltern train from Gerard’s cross, all sound and had some great banter. Probably don’t suffer from the same levels of insecurity as some fanbases due to their success over the years, where fanbases, from clubs like Villa, are desperate to be considered ‘big’ but actually end up...
