Don't agree. Thought he was excellent in the first half. Ran the game for 15-20 mins. Put in some defensive graft as well as trying to get Madrid moving forward. Did think he was really good.
Faded out of it after half time though tbf.
Vinicius was handled perfectly by Bradley all night never...
Oh he's obviously not crap. Good point about Sterling as well, he might be one of the most underappreciated players we've had in the last 10 years or so.
My own view on the decisions that have caused some debate..
Aasgaard, stone wall red. Not intentional but out of control, reckless and caused some fair damage. Just look at the damage on the lad. Perhaps a bit unlucky because he's clearly going for the ball but it's a result of his own...
Frustrated.
Started really nervously, looked terrified at the back especially on the ball and just invited a load of pressure. Farcical first goal that was disallowed for a really tight offside (not totally convinced it was tbh).
Shite goal to concede. No arguments with Aasgaard red card, he...
Maybe lucky it wasn't looked at more closely hur don't think there was any force in it at all. Just stupid from Trusty. Aasgaard zero argument about that red.
Rangers been poor but had 3 clear chances.
Chermiti still on for 2nd half fk sake.
Mate that dive was hilarious. Blows my mind that professionals lower themselves to that sort of embarrassing stuff. Meghoma was very good last night too but was obviously a target after the first yellow.
Not seen the disallowed goal will have to check it out.
The officiating last night was a complete and utter disgrace and sabotaged any kind of flow. Second half was a mess but we still managed to stay fairly solid at the back aside from one or 2 minor issues. The penalty was unlucky with Tavs slip and the resulting minor contact from Barron. Not sure...
