Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

Because the physical, mental and technical demands of playing for City are totally different to those playing for Forest. It’s one thing catching the eye for a team that finishes 16th in the Prem where being plucky underdogs picking up the occasional result takes a different toll physically...

Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

120 million for Anderson is fucking insane. 50 million and take the chance he can make the step up, maybe. But 120 million is world class finished article money and he definitely isn't that.

Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

We'll see. Not seen that much of him but wasn't overly impressed. Neat and tidy, good engine, stands out in a poor team, will need to step up a few levels to be successful here.

Where the hell does this desperation to sign Anderson come from? Seems like a decent player but nothing special. What am I missing?

    Savinho | May 2026 - Spurs linked again (p218)

Hopefully the professionals at the club can see how talented this lad is and we keep him.

Pep to leave at the end of the season

Thanks for everything Pep, absolutely the best decade ever to be a City fan, forever a club legend. I also believe the timing is right, looking forward rather back, really excited for the new season, to see the arrival of a new coach, some fresh faces, some new tactics, unlikely we'll ever...

    47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

Great to see Foden enjoying himself on a football pitch again. His quality will always shine through if he can get back to playing with confidence.

Personally I'd play Foden there. With Cherki nailing down 10, and the front 3 looking settled, the Bernardo role seems to be the best route into the starting 11 for him. He has the ability to take the ball under pressure, a great passing range, and an eye for goal. Give him a chance please Pep.

Southampton (N) | FAC | Post Match Thread

Totally agreed with Pep's decision to freshen the team up and give some of our regular starters a rest, but hated the starting line up, more specifically the lack of pace and width. However, maybe Doku and Savinho had a greater impact due to the fact that Southampton defenders were basically...

No pace and no width, against a low block? Am I missing something?

Match discussion (WSL) - Brighton v City - Saturday 25 April KO 12:00

I agree. Finishing is half hearted, casual and sloppy. Feels like the players aren't determined enough to make chances count. Well today was a perfect example of what can happen if you don't put your chances away, the opposition gets encouragement from the fact that they're still in the game and...

I would hate to be the coach of this team, this game should be done and dusted already.

Do the girls practice their finishing? I'm only half joking. Literal open goals and one on ones missed constantly, should be 5 up here already.

    Southampton (N) - Sat 25th April, 17:15 | FAC | Pre-Match Thread

Suggest you re-watch the Newcastle fa cup game, one of our best performances of the season. I suspect the starting line up will be similar.

Burnley (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Think Pep was right to go with a consistent team selection recently, we've had 4 or 5 really intense must win games and we've won them all, but signs that some of the players would benefit from a rest last night. Not so much physically, but mentally. The 3 points was absolutely the top priority...
