Brilliant as Foden was, I thought Rodders provided a masterclass last night, simply outstanding performance.

I agree with the majority that KDB was a deserved MOTM, but my vote went Akanji, I thought his performance against Saka was brilliant overall. To be totally honest it could have been any City player on the pitch.

With the Jimenez incident he actually fouled Rodders twice, first he pulled him back and then tripped him up. A lot of refs will book players for pulling a player back. The second booking was sheer stupidity and deserved.
