The whole thing is a bit frustrating as a City fan. If he's leaving make it clear and let the fans celebrate your time at City like we have KDB, Aguero etc. Instead fans are left in the dark.

He absolutely has a problem with finishing, there's very little behind his shots. In two seasons, we've yet to see a left footed winger cut back on his left and score.

By new deal what does it entail? Because he isn't even the player he was a few years ago so how do you give him the same terms?

He just needs not to play against low blocks, City was the wrong team for him.

Savinho has 1 PL goal in 49 appearances. Savinho is 22, Vini at 22 was hitting double digit goals and assists in the league. If Savinho scores in the final, of course we'd be glad but it doesn't change the overall issue.

If he hasn't practised it already (and finishing at all) then it's just not going to happen for him. We've not seen any improvement in 2 seasons.

Getting the KDB replacement right was make or break for us. Players of this quality are rare and we couldn't afford to miss out. Bayern have Olise, Barca have Yamal and thankfully we ended up snatching Cherki

Ultimately, just very bewildering to consider his thought process here. It makes total sense to consider a return to Spain at this stage of his career but to openly flirt with Madrid and potentially torch the high esteem he's held at by City fans is insane.
