West Ham PL (H) | Man of the Match

Rodri for me, but Cancelo had yet another excellent game. The players looked tired to me today. Perhaps the exertions of Wednesday night combined with the weather. I suppose 3 games in a week will catch up even with professional players. West Ham were a really tough opponent but I'd expected that.

Paris Saint-Germain CL (H) | Man of the Match

I need the option to give the award to Rodri, Bernardo and Gundo. Not a lot to choose between any of them. Walker and Mahrez not far behind either. Brilliant performances right across the team. If I'm forced to choose then Bernardo; absolutely tireless and relentless.

Rodri, all day, every day. Bernardo, Cancelo and Gundo all excellent too. Thought Palmer had a good first start in the Prem and McAtee looking like a clone of David Silva in his brief cameo. Excellent afternoon all round, really enjoyed that one.

Manchester United PL (A) | Man of the Match

Could have gone to Rodri, Bernardo or Cancelo. Went with Rodders in the end. Thought the team played well throughout with Kev looking my like his old self at last - though still not at his absolute best. Great to see the Stones/Dias partnership back in place too as well as Aymeric's played...

0 - 2 annihilation. So ridiculously one sided. Completely outclassed the Rags. Rodri, Bernardo, Phil and Cancelo utterly brilliant. Kev looking more like his usual self today. What a day to be a Blue.

Club Brugge CL (H) | Man of the Match

Between Bernardo and Rodri for me tonight. Even then it's a relatively straightforward decision, Bernardo. Where we'd be without Bernardo on current form god knows. It's brilliant seeing him playing at best standard once again; even more so if he still wants to leave. Honourable mention to...

Chelsea PL (A) | Man of the Match

Another really difficult one. Between Bernardo and Rodri for me, but front City were excellent from Ederson forward. Defence marshalled brilliantly by Dias. Masterclass from Rodri as a number 6. The front three never stopped running and and working. But for sheer effort, I've gone for Bernardo.

Fabulous team performance. Everyone right on their game. Rodri, Bernardo and João best players on the park. Phil, Jesus and Grealish never stopped running from beginning to end. I was really pessimistic about this before the game, never been happier to have been wrong. Exceptional City.

Wycombe (H) - EFL Cup R3 | Man of the Match

Easy one tonight. Young Phil. Thought, Josh Wilson-Esbrand was the pick of the young players and might well have given Pep something to think about, given our paucity of left back cover. All in all an excellent night's entertainment.

    Wycombe (H) - EFL Cup R3 | Post-Match Thread

None of the young players disgraced themselves tonight - far from it. Wilson-Esbrand the pick of them for me with Luke Mbete not far behind. Thought Lavia was excellent too. Hopefully, given our lack of depth at left back that's given Perp something to think about. Phil, MotM for me. Looked as...

Fernandinho signs one year contract extension (Pg 91)

Great news. Really pleased about this. He's clearly a very strong voice in the dressing room and we seem to lack those except probably Dias.

Paris Saint-Germain (H) - CL SF | Man of the Match

Take your pick from Walker, Stones, Dias and Zinchenko. All 4 simply brilliant tonight. But just for the amount of times he's put his body on the line tonight, went for Dias. On another day Mahrez wins it for the two clinical finishes but eclipsed by all 4 of the defence tonight.

Walker, Stones, Dias and Zinch all absolutely sensational. God knows how you choose the MotM from those 4. Brilliant City, simply brilliant. What time to be a Blue.

Very poor for all but the final 10 of the first half but magnificent second half. One of the best halves of football I think I've ever seen us produce. Thought that Zinch coming on changed the game, giving us more balance and control on the left. Good change by Pep, taking Cancelo off, with the...

Tottenham - EFL Cup Final | Man of the Match

Really difficult one this one. Pretty much everyone had a decent game. Dias and Laporte both excellent - Kane and Son never got a sniff. Walker right on it today too. Thought Mahrez was excellent throughout and on another day would have got my vote. Kev, Phil and Gundo all excellent. Raz much...
